DAGOTHLOVANIA - Dagothwave in the style of MEGALOVANIA (Dagothwave BPM)

​For this one, I decided to go for a more realistic approach and decided to write this song based on how Konji Kondo would've possibly done. So that means taking some faint inspiration from the artists he liked, and doing it a bit jazzy, mysterious and creepy. The original Mario Bros soundtrack was quite simplistic in its style, so I kept it that way here.

I also noticed how the original underground theme was a bit "out of place" when compared to the other level songs. Still iconic for sure, but far too simplistic and short when compared to the Overworld and Underwater themes. Although that could also be said about the Castle theme.



Overall, maybe one could say this is an "AU" version of sorts.

This is a bit of an odd one, I wanted to cover it a long time ago but never got around to doing it
It happened to appear on my recommended page and from there I decided to finally do a cover.
I've always liked the original, I think it's oddly fitting for Sonic even though 3/4ths of it is just the original Megalovania. I haven't played the Kaizo Sonic ROM hack itself but it certainly looks brutal- and this is pretty fitting for one of the last zones
