"GORGE.IN has completed its 10th anniversary compilation "GORGE OUT "HERE" 2022". The total number of tracks is 45, and the total time is over 2 hours and 40 minutes. A terrifying adventure of madness is enclosed here.

This monster compilation proves it. The bootists (as the artists who create gorges are called) came from 20 regions across Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, and from abroad, including Germany, the U.S., Argentina, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Nepal, and many other countries. Gorge is a mix of gorges from every region of the world, a music that can be found anywhere in the world and nowhere else in the world.

The backgrounds of the participants are diverse. Techno, Dubstep, Hip-hop, Ondo, GQOM, Rock, Noise, Punk ・・・・. All kinds of genres coexist here, swallowed up on the extremely open and vast wildness of Gorge music.

You may be asking, "Is this real?" Despite being active since the early days of Gorge, the recordings include bootists DJ Nanga, MVVM, and others whose existence is in doubt. George Jukemura is deceased, and his sound files came to us by fax. "Isn't this fictional?" I would like to answer, "The truth is that music exists here". The existence of this 45-tracks of awesome vibration is unquestionably real. What other information do we need?

Gorge's last ten years have been "embryo". With this album, Gorge's true story has finally begun to unfold. What comes next? Please listen to this album and look forward to it.

London-based Egyptian-French filmmaker and artist Susu Laroche @tsvsvnami (one half of Fertile Crescent with Oxhy, and most recently released a collaborative project with Mobbs on Modern Love) returns with a long-awaited new solo album.

Longtime collaborator of the Doyenne label after tracks on the first cassette as a split with Flora Yin-Wong, and a cover for the 'Venus Rising From The Sea' compilation via Doyenne x Boomkat. Here she hones her signature brooding Middle Eastern melodies, dabke drums and haunted vocalisations into the culmination of a contemporary artefact arriving as a wax-sealed box.

After the discovery of an artefact known only as 'Body 53' in the British Museum - 'human skeletal remains; ribbon; comb; diadem; ear-ring; collar; necklace; bowl; cosmetic sample' - Laroche inquired deeper into the connections to where the body was found, at the Royal Cemetery at Ur in Southern Iraq. Coming across Queen Puabi, a prominent figure in ancient Sumer found at the same grounds, the artist drew parallels between the shadowy figure often cited as a queen, consort, or priestess, with the Sufi female saint, Rabia. 

Alongside these mytho-historical documentations, her work with Sufi texts including 'Al Hallaj Tawasin' (Book of the Purity of the Glory of the One) formed the basis of the lyrics embedded in the album. 'War Against The Lie' devises a para-fictional account of a historical law that governed this period of ancient Zoroastrian civilisation in Persia, and a buried demand for truth.

Phazmidi - SLIDE MOTION presents "VEHICLE" Live Set (2023.11.4) *Re-Recording

Sequentia (@sequentia666) is a DJ and promoter of Ngāti Mutunga and Moriori descent based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Drawing influence from the bass-heavy culture of their Ōtautahi roots and their earlier experimental / improvisational projects, Sequentia has shared stages with the likes of Mechatok, Tim Reaper, Moktar, Mike Q, Loefah, Isabella Lovestory and James K. 
They host a monthly radio show on @95bfm called ‘Soundbleed’, and in 2020 they founded @relatedarticles - which functions as a monthly broadcast, a club night and a record label “at the forefront of releasing some of the most forward-thinking electronic music in the country” [Flying Nun]. In 2019 they co-established the biennial 3-day experimental music event Outlier Festival, a multi-modal project platforming new electronic music from Aotearoa’s experimental and exploratory practitioners. 
Sequentia’s eclectic and boundary-defying sets have seen them perform internationally and across festivals in Aotearoa, traversing elements of downtempo, ambient, leftfield techno and global club music, jungle and more - with an emphasis on drawing connections across genres and careful curation which echos the environment. This mix is a live recording of their opening set for Isabella Lovestory at @nymphoworld in Tāmaki Makaurau [22.02.25]
