Rebirth Mix 7-15-23

This set, originally titled "Darling, I Think I Like You," was for a show I played in Vancouver, shortly after a close friendship turned into an unexpected situationship before falling through and concluding the overall relationship. While, in retrospect, it was for the best, things could have gone smoother. The storyline behind this mix, thenceforth, follows a journey through darkness and light, exploring the back-and-forth emotions typically attached to the start of relationships. I scrambled for the two days before to get it ready for the show, so I was a little laissez-faire with it at times, but that's where the beauty of this mix shines, such that I made it in the present moment, embodying a vulnerable yet free-flowing state of emotion.

BIO: Basswobble cannot resist those squelchy bass textures and organic drum patterns. Basswobble seamlessly blends psychedelic dub music allowing for an exhilarating set every time. Basswobble carefully curates worldly soundscapes progressing through the fourth dimension. Growing up in Dunedin, Lucas was very fond of electronic genres and quickly took up DJing at outdoor raves and house parties with his own equipment in 2008, teaching himself to loop progressively, as well as the essential fundamentals of DJing various underground electronic music genres. Basswobble has wowed many dance-floors with the latest and greatest bass music genres of the present. Basswobble has recently moved to Auckland to pursue his dream of DJing, as well as to share his knowledge in his comprehensive DJ workshop.

Newest Liquid Mix I put together live. One of my favorites when it comes to the selection. Some of my favorite artists in this mix showcasing some of their incredible talents. Artists like Halogenix, Pola & Bryson, Alix Perez, Visages, En:vy, Xeons to name a few. Last track of the mix is my first track I  helped Produce/ Remixed with the legend/friend KiLO of the talented artist/vocalist Yebba.
