Early Nites is a grab-bag of indie pop and alt rock, making music you want to listen to with friends and then replay on your own when you’ve got a moment. The group formed in 2014 when Matthew P and Scott C met in California. The group was rounded out to a trio later that year with the addition of Stewart B, originally from Colorado. Influenced by Mew, Tycho, and Slayer, their sound frequently features guitar and synthesizer that are heavy on the effects, but light on the ears. Early Nites released three songs for free listening in the summer of 2015. They are currently based in Bakersfield, California.
