First single from Soft Crash's debut album 'Your Last Everything' out Oct 28.

Soft Crash is the collaborative project of two Italo Body Music trailblazers: BITE founder – Phase Fatale, and one of the label’s protagonists – Pablo Bozzi. United by a mutual passion for a particular melancholic yet sensual approach, and a sound that combines influences of synthwave, EBM, Italo and techno, the two have proved themselves to be a perfect match with ‘Spritzkrieg’ (2020) – their first EP on BITE. 

This time, Soft Crash present their first long player ‘Your Last Everything’. The album further expands the Italo Body Music palette into electro, acid house, bleep, hi-nrg, and IDM. Each of the eight tracks on the LP sounds layered and intricate, with a variety of interactions between different technical elements and intertwining melodies that reference high production methods from the 80s and 90s turned contemporary. 

The album centers itself around themes of dystopian cyberpunk and surreal cinematics. It looks to invoke emotion in cold and mechanical elements, making it feel like an organic new chapter in the duo’s ongoing exploration of the relationship between technology and the body. 

‘Your Last Everything’ comes together in a sci-fi-like dramatic journey into another universe, juxtaposing internal conflicts of good and evil, creation and destruction, victory and defeat. The album cover features artwork by John Rohrer and logo by Autopsia (both Berlin-based queer artists). The cover visually completes the LP, capturing the feeling of losing and finding oneself in between the cyberworlds.

The V.A. combines genre-bending music from six different artists, exploring the broad sonic landscape of electro-industrial dance music, pushing boundaries in sound, without breaching the sanctity of the dance floor. Features tracks by New York techno legend and owner of Sonic Groove records Adam X,  Mannequin records boss Alessandro Adriani, Maedon (Sonic Groove), 3.14 (Pi Electronics, Modal Analysis), E-bony (PAG TLV) and Chloe Lula (Aufnahme + Wiedergabe). 

Today we present Adriani's trance inducing track "Life Reborn". He comes through with a synth-driven giant of a track, discharging dystopian energy through its progressive and tribal drum rhythm pattern, continuously shifting the listener's focus between the longing and steadfast synth-pad atmosphere and the dark and turbulent bass line below.

After his sold out EP "Shiny Black Leather" and a dream collaboration with Dario Argento for the soundtrack of his new film "Occhiali Neri", Maestro Arnaud Rebotini is back on Mannequin Records with a brand new 4-tracks ep "I Drive East".

For this new ep, Arnaud started working more on a song form, deeply inspired by his rock'n'roll roots. Having heroes like Suicide or Alien Sex Fiend in mind, he was able to create the perfect link between EBM and Industrial Rock. The final production was orchestrated diving deep into percussive drums and digital synthesizers, a mega hybrid of analog and digital, recalling back our favourite mid-80's productions.

BITE is pleased to announce the solo debut of the label boss himself – Hayden Payne aka Phase Fatale – with his first EP in 5 years.

The New York native and Berlin-based BITE label founder has long made a name for himself as one of the main players on the heavy electronics arena. Berghain and Khidi resident with releases on labels like Jealous God, Ostgut Ton and unterton under his belt, Payne also is ½ of the Soft Crash duo with Pablo Bozzi.

‘Nailed To The Net’ is Phase Fatale’s first solo work on the label. The EP consists of five tracks canonical to Payne’s signature futuristic industrial style, including a remix by the interdisciplinary artist Rrose. Not deprived of romantic sensibility, and yet with punchy groove and heavy hitting arpeggiations, the record comes together as a flavourful mix of sci-fi-like electro, unsettling vocals, powerful industrial techno, and atmospheric guitar driven wave.
