Radio Slave announces Part 2 of Rekids Special Projects ‘Actualize’ compilation.

Rekids Special Projects, the no-nonsense techno-focussed sub-label of Radio Slave, aka Matt Edwards’ Rekids, launched in 2017 and has since released music from the likes of Mark Broom, Luke Hess, Jon Hester, and more. For the 50th release, Edwards readies ‘Actualize’, bringing acts from the wider Rekids universe into one slick collection, with the second part arriving this February alongside a DJ mix of the tracks. 

“I had no idea how big this project would become when I started planning the ‘Actualize’ compilation back in October. With 28 tracks, I decided to split the comp into 2 parts, and it also gave me and some of the other artists featured here a chance to finish their tracks. I’m super happy with ‘Actualize’, and it’s a great honour to have guest artists such as Slam and Ian Pooley’s Silvershower project on RSPX.” - Radio Slave

Following a remix appearance of Chris Liebing on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD imprint last year, the pair now team up on Liebing’s celebrated CLR imprint for ‘I Will Be A Devil Until I Am An Angel’ this November.

First up, ‘Watch Me Choose You’ launches with a clap-heavy groove shot through with bleeps and squelches, a subtle serpentine acid-line woven among its sturdy drums. It’s a high-intensity, peak-time offering followed by ‘When You Are Near’, another dancefloor bomb which continues with additional bursts of acid sprayed on top of its cavernous kick drums before dropping into a mind-melting frenzy at the halfway mark.

"Since I met Nicole many, many years ago, we've had an amazing connection, we’ve played quite a few really amazing back-to-back sets as well as remixed each other, which we were always really happy with. It was only a matter of time until we’d do a joint original release, and here it is! I am THEGOD01, and I bring you a new transmission from the core of the neural abyss.
Daniel Romero’s “Neural EP” is a surgical incision into the grey matter of techno itself. Four original tracks designed like precision-engineered weapons, built from rusted frequencies, distorted pulses, and rhythms that grind like a chainsaw cutting through consciousness.

Each sequence vibrates between the metaphysical and hypnotic repetition mutates into violent distortion, and what begins as sound soon becomes a ritual of mechanical possession. The air thickens, the pressure rises, and the flesh begins to remember that it, too, is circuitry.

The EP closes with a remix from Unbekannt, who previously appeared on Humanoid Gods. His reinterpretation is a descent into pure entropy, a vortex where all neural patterns collapse into static and silence.

This is techno as exorcism. Raw, heavy, dissonant, and alive.

Listen if you dare to feel the machine inside you.

HGD38 Has been produced and recorded by Daniel Romero, curated and mastered by Franco Cazzola at Nasty Music Basement studios in Turin, Italy. The artwork is a real UFO sighting footage frame from the past, edited by Franco Cazzola.
