Brooklyn's Underground System are a band who have been on our radar since we caught their ace 'Just A Place EP' on Soul Clap back in 2019. A powerhouse live experience their latest release see's them land with Razor-N-Tape who are collaborating with French Label Heavenly Sweetness to deliver a series of EP's from the band.

First up is the Into The Fire EP which manages to shoehorn a variety of sounds from Afrobeat to disco to classic yet futuristic New York New Wave. It's a fascinating combination which pays off generously. The label have also drafted in French maestro Yuksek and Detroit head Andres on remix duty and both have delivered in their own inimitable styles.

London-based producer Nebraska delivers his ‘Drill Deep’ EP with three sample based productions, including the title track that features a disco motif primed for the dancefloor.

Following releases on Rush Hour, Heist, Delusions of Grandeur and Mister Saturday Night​, Nebraska now turns his attention to the Brooklyn based imprint Razor-N-Tape’s sub-label, Razor-N-Tape Reserve. He's been known for a plethora of musical styles, but ‘Drill Deep’ showcases the more upbeat side to his musical persona while also highlighting his skill using eclectic samples.

For producing the material, Nebraska dug deep into his sample library: “Though not all made in the same period of time, these three tracks all feature drums sampled and chopped from vinyl copies of reggae records paired with samples from 70s soul productions – I prefer things to sound a little crackly and rough, that basement-y, sound system type of vibe.”

Nebraska’s ‘Drill Deep’ EP will be released March 29 on "easter yellow" 12" vinyl.

Purple Ice, 23 Year old dj and producer from Dublin makes his debut with theBasement Discos!

This talented guy was spotted through his previous work Pineapple Express EP and instantly caught the label’s attention. Now, for the last release of 2019, we're truly excited to have him on board with Silver Lining EP.

After the huge success of some of his previous tracks like 'Más Amor' and 'Pineapple Express', we welcome this five-track EP with open arms. Three extremely groovy tracks plus two remixes of "Surrender" which makes this track the main EP's focus of attention.

On one side, Joe Corti, the London producer and head of the label China White, delivers his own version of "Surrender" by beefing it up, making a more dancefloor oriented track.

On the other side, Whatever Charles, theBasement Discos local resident, delivers his deeper version, with a more chilled down approach.

The result of this EP is going to be an instant house heads pleaser!

DJ and French producer native of Saint-Etienne.

He found his inspiration into the musical movement "House-Detroit-
Chicago "of the 90s and was influenced by artists like: Moodymann, Dj Sneak, Derrick May, Theo Parrish, MAW, Daft Punk...

His pure style with retro tendency gives a sense and a universe to his music which proposes to transcribe emotions through repetitive sounds with a natural and authentic aspect.

These productions have seduced the Paris label "Ondulé Recordings" (founded by Joss Moog, Around7 and Jean Cé). He signed his first EP entitled "St-Etienne Vol.1". Inspired by his industrial history, he speaks in this pack of his hometown thanks to raw and deep sounds. Followed by the second part of "St-Etienne Vol.2 EP » is accompanied by a limited edition vinyl release of 100 copies including the two volumes.
