Warum sterben Männer dreimal häufiger durch Suizid, obwohl Frauen dreimal mehr Suizidversuche unternehmen? Was bedeutet „Geschlecht“ in der Medizin – und warum ist es entscheidend für bessere Forschung, Diagnostik und Versorgung?
In dieser ersten Folge von IMPACT im Gespräch spricht Dr. Britt Dahmen, Leiterin des Referats Chancengerechtigkeit an der Universität zu Köln und Host des Podcasts „IMPACT im Gespräch“, mit Dr. med. Laura Wortmann über geschlechtersensible Medizin und darüber, wie inklusive Forschung die Gesundheitsversorgung für alle verbessern kann.

•	Was ist die Toolbox, die Forschende an der Schnittstelle von Medizin, Gender und Diversität unterstützt?

Über den Gast
Dr. med. Laura Wortmann ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der AG Geschlechtersensible Medizin und Expertin für Genderaspekte in Forschung und Lehre an der Universität Bielefeld. 
Ihre Schwerpunkte liegen in der geschlechtersensiblen Medizin, der Integration von Gender- und Diversitätsaspekten in die Forschung sowie in der Entwicklung innovativer Lehrformate.
Als IMPACT-Fellow der Universität zu Köln hat sie die Toolbox für geschlechter- und diversitätssensible medizinische Forschung mitentwickelt – ein praktisches Instrument für Forschende zur vertiefenden Auseinandersetzung mit Geschlechter- und Vielfaltsdimensionen

Prof. Dr. Thilo van Eimeren, FEAN, ist Professor für Multimodale Bildgebung neuronaler Netzwerke an der Universität zu Köln. Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf den strukturellen und molekularen Grundlagen von Gehirnfunktionen in Gesundheit und Krankheit. Besonderes Interesse gilt der Anwendung und Kombination molekularer und funktioneller Bildgebungsverfahren zur Erforschung pathologischer Mechanismen bei neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen wie Parkinson-Syndromen und Alzheimer.

Im Kölner Karneval aktiv sein, macht nicht nur Spaß, sondern kann auch die Gesundheit fördern. Das zeigt die "Jeckenstudie" von Professorin Lea Ellwardt und ihrem Team am Department für Soziologie und Sozialpsychologie. Die Soziologinnen haben Mitglieder von Karnevalsgesellschaften zu ihrem ehrenamtlichen Engagement und ihren sozialen Netzwerken im Verein befragt. Für die Jecken bedeutet der Verein mehr als nur gemeinsames Feiern.

We are a band 100% authorial of Thrash Metal of the interior of the state of Bahia, with 10 years of highway and two recorded CD's, the entitled 1st of "Unloading the Hate" (2008) with ten strips of a lot of weight and cadences for who it tans a style of rock heavy and at the same time lively, the 2nd album entitled "Metal 13" (2013) it also counts with 10 strips, these already well worked and heavy, with resonant and well put keyboard emblems in the music, being one of the main ones differential in relation to the first disk.
