The follow up remix of "Don't be So Shy" also got the multi-platinum & Diamond status and the strong international radio support. In 2016 it hits Top 5 Shazam Worldwide. This Remix became Number 1 hit in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Russia, Poland, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and many more countries. Then "Tell it to my heart" and "Wide Awake" (with Eric Saade & Gustaf Noren) blew up the charts with millions of streams and views. The Single "Time Won't Wait" got on top positions in the Eastern Europe getting more than 60 000 000 views on Youtube.

The pseudonym of Dutch producer Mark van der Schoot (32), Maduk first came to prominence via the YouTube channel Liquicity Drum & Bass  in 2011. Van der Schoot had started producing just a year before and had given his friend Maris Goudzwaard -- who ran Liquicity -- a copy of the track "Avalon" which was promptly uploaded. The liquid drum & bass sound was the perfect fit for the burgeoning channel and was released on their new label of the same name. 

Joining forces with Goudzwaard in 2013 to setup the label and their Amsterdam-based club nights, Van der Schoot continued to release on Liquicity and multiple other labels. With his brand of Drum & Bass becoming popular and winning both best newcomer DJ and Producer at the Drum&Bass Awards 2014 & 2015, Maduk released his debut album "Never Give Up” on U.K.-based label Hospital Records in 2016. 

The years after the album release Maduk focussed mainly on his label and events, Liquicity Festival now is one of the biggest Drum & Bass festivals in the world and the Liquicity community is steadily growing with sold out club shows all over Europe. Early 2019 Maduk announced to be back on the Liquicity roster and released his first new album single Go / Coming Down soon after. Later the singles Go Home (NCS), Colours / Still In Love [UKF10 x Liquicity], Company, Everytime, Back To Life, Go Back To The Jungle and Come Back To Me' followed, possibly all part of his second studio album. ~ Rich Wilson, Rovi

Oscar Oomens energetic and wide productions harmonise with Philip Dakowitz personal taste of production and wicked melodies creating the diverse and clean sound of this rising team.

The last years have been incredible so far with Submatik being on the bill of sell out gigs such as Liquicity Antwerp or the Laundry Day Festival, as well as having the pleasure of playing alongside some of the biggest names in the scene such as Camo & Krooked, Pendulum, Sigma, Culture Shock, Murdock and Maduk to name but a few.

It’s going to be a big future for this rising duo. With some ground breaking tracks in the pipeline, Submatik are a talented collective whose passion for creating exceptional music will ensure that they leave their mark on the Drum & Bass community.
