A World Beyond

A horror inspired piece that came to me late in the evening/early morning hours, fueled by insomnia and a panicked state of mind (potentially also influenced by my ADHD), I created... this. 
I titled it "Mortality" as I feel it has a very menacing vibe, as though something is watching, waiting and ultimately chasing you your entire life, until you finally succumb to that of which we all will some day, death. 
I feel death doesn't wait for me, it's always chasing me, testing my patience, tempting me into it's cold embrace, but I refuse to submit, albeit beaten and bruised from a lifetime of pain and suffering... I'm still here. <3

- Well that about sums up this piece of music, (aside from the opening bell chimes being inspired by the Terminator movie soundtracks). 
Interpret it however you like, I prefer it that way. 

It's short and intended as a soundtrack a la Dave Porter (composer for Breaking Bad).

I hope it's an enjoyable listen (if spooky is your cup of bone broth) ;) and as always, constructive criticism is welcome. ^-^

A joy to create! Probably one of the newest songs written for the album, the guitar was written a while before the lyrics, I've been wanting to do something with this tune for a couple years and the effervescent Matt Warren has added that cherry on top!

Cracking vocal track from the Cheshire based singer/songwriter, once again really makes the tine what it is - all of the collabs do, cant thank Matt enough. Man of your talent!
