Two years after his last outing on Ascetic House, US producer @sorenroi clocks in on Nick Klein's @primitive-languages with a proper mind-altering 7", 'Failures In Passion/Evenstance', floating somewhere in the seam zone betwixt ruffneck ethno-tech, rust-eaten dubs and elliptic industrial riddims.

Le Dom is one of the four corners of Paradoxe Club, the Parisian party responsible for some of the most upfront and adrenalin-spiking club material of the last two years. Schism is Le Dom's second EP for the label, and its four ferocious tracks continue the crew's experiments with the "Berite Club" concept: a fusion of homegrown, post-Bangalter loop worship with the global rhythms of grime, ballroom, B'more and kuduro. The whole EP is guaranteed to turn dancefloors to jelly, but 'Primal' is the starting gun – a relentless, three-minute sprint through granite-hard kicks and ragged surfaces that'll leave you out of breath and elated. Look out for the EP on April 5.

And The Smoove Booty Storm [HOA008]

Originally slated for release in 2018 as it’s debut release, multimedia platform Eternal Ocean is now proud to present: ‘Plant Lyfe Vol. 1’, a collection of three collaborative projects that feature a rotating cast of artists that include Teleself, Ronan, Acemo and DJ Temporary. Recorded between 2016-2018 at Felt Presence Studios in Ridgewood, New York the results of these collaborations run the gamut of breakbeat house and alien techno to aquatic dub and downtempo explorations. Drawing from their experiences as DJ’s and dancers in the Brooklyn underground, these 12 tracks represent some of the sonic inspirations from late nights and early mornings spent in trance. Represented here is a moment of connection and communion in a place that emphasized separation and individualism and the raw quality of the recordings reflect the immediacy and playful character of those moments. This CD also acts as a companion piece to the ‘Felt Presence’ LP on Vanity Press Records featuring more recordings from this creatively fruitful period.

25% of all profits from this release will be donated to the Translatina Coalition in support of marginalized people during this global crisis.
