Dublin Digital Radio is back with its second compilation from producers, composers and musicians resident on Europe’s Best Online Radio Station.

The compilation is a reflection of the range of homegrown talent resident on the station and an opportunity for ddr. to showcase the music of the online station’s monthly residents.

All proceeds for the compilation go to Inner City Helping Homeless, a charity dedicated to providing an outreach and advocacy service to those worst affected by Ireland’s spiraling housing crisis.

On ACEN010 Sydney based producer Hence Therefore steps out from releasing on his own 3BS imprint to deliver a two track single on All Centre.

A side ‘Waste Frontier’ utilises elastic percussion and torn samples drenched in his signature atmospheric reverbs as it Gradually building from a handful of carefully placed elements into a spacious dance floor excursion. The body of the track melodies and kick drum patterns against each other eventually giving way to an emotive lead melody supported by driving drums.

B side ‘Census Map Museum’ axis's around a chromatic melody which bobs around the stereo field as the frenetic percussion builds around it. As the track presses on supporting melodies grow from the main motif creating a web ear worms that carefully jostle amongst one another.

Waste Frontier is available across all platforms from the 18th of October.

Minimal, elegant and supercharged with latent energy, @cop-envy & @1djplead’s ‘Hinged’ EP consists of 3 tracks written over the course of two Melbourne summer nights. Luscious drums, sparse melodic elements and midnight-hued atmospheric flourishes are masterfully sequenced for maximum DJ enthrallment and dancefloor enjoyment. The release exudes depth and a natural balance of both artists’ respective styles that belies their long-standing friendship :) :) :)

Rounding off a year that saw well-received solo EPs from both Cop Envy and DJ Plead (on Hypercolour and Nervous Horizon, respectively), their collaborative debut ‘Hinged’ will be released digitally and as a limited hand-stamped 12” vinyl on Friday 8 November.
