Burgeoning DJ and producer Bontan makes his debut on the notorious Hot Creations label. Hotly anticipated, the release features two original cuts to fuel his rising profile.

UK based Bontan has been using title track The First Time as his secret weapon for the last six months and is now finally unleashing it. “I’ve been testing it and tweaking it play by play!’ he explains. ‘The vocal compliments the rolling bass melody and gives it a darker edge”. This a producer who fully understands how to create a track for a heaving dancefloor. Personal Question is the second cut and flips the mood entirely with a twisted vocal entwined in beeps and percussion, whilst stirring the sentiments of lost early hours.

A firm favourite in the underground scene, he has built a solid reputation with releases on Circus Recordings, 20/20 Vision, and Cajual among others.

Two UK titans in Hauswerks and Doorly team up for a debut on Get Physical that packs a real punch across three new tracks, while the legendary Gene Farris also features.
Hauswerks has been at the sharp end of house and electro for more than a decade now. Appearing on the day’s finest labels from Hot Creations to Material, he’s worked with collaborator Doorly before to great effect. Doorly is of course a global player with recent credits on Cajual, Play It Say It, and his own imprint, Reptile Dysfunction. He’s a main room house man who plays headline gigs around the world and between this pair they cook up truly powerful tracks.
First up is the excellent ‘Put Your Back Into It’, a sharp tech house tune with solid kick drums, kaleidoscopic colours and crisp, snappy percussion that drives it all forwards. Chicago veteran Gene Farris delivers a classic spoken world house vocal that encourage you to dance and makes this one a timeless hit.
Next is ‘Power of the Mind,’ a quicker and more driving house tune that has sci-fi synths shooting across the face of the metallic hits and kicks. It's a fluid groove that’s designed to take the crowd to the next level as a spoken word monologue imbues it with a futuristic spirit.
Last of all, the slick ‘Ayahuasca’ pops off thanks to the rubbery kicks and freaky bits of sound design that take you into another realm. It’s a track with plenty of subtle builds and explosive drops that relentlessly marches onwards.
These are three high functioning, high impact tracks for the most energetic moments in the night.

Toolroom’s Dateless joins up with Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this November with three upbeat cuts entitled ‘Shoes On EP’ including a remix from Hot Creations’ Bontan.

In recent years Dateless has steadily emerged onto the house music scene with sought-after releases on Food Music, Dirtybird, Riva Starr’s Snatch! and many more. He’s garnered support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 DJs Danny Howard and Annie Nightingale, as well as appearing on line-ups with Green Velvet, Claude VonStroke and Shiba San. He now joins the Hottrax family with his ‘Shoes On EP’ following the likes of Kevin Knapp, Patrick Topping, Waze & Odyssey and label boss Jamie Jones. UK based artist Bontan puts his signature sound to an engaging remix after previous outings on Crosstown Rebels and Circus Recordings.

‘Shoes On Please’ provides dashing kick drums with fluid basslines bouncing off layered elegantly with an attractive vocal line undulating throughout. Bontan’s remix of ‘Shoes On Please’ offers delightful atmospheres with emotive synth melodies, fluid percussion and enchanting breakdowns. ‘Who Are We’ then finishes things off with playful, tribal drums balanced with dazzling rhythmic stabs and euphonious flutters.

Following their 2018 collaboration Jano, producers Joe Red & Paul Darey reunite for their slamming debut Retrospective EP on Solardo’s Sola label who have been championing the rising talent.

A two-track weapon, Retrospective EP kicks off with haunting synth lines that proceed into a weighty breakdown spanning the realms of tech house, acid house and techno. Meanwhile, Can You Play To My Beat leans into more uplifting territories boasting grumbling vocals that weave amongst vivacious throttles and soaring lasers. 

Hailing from Mallorca, Joe Red has garnered support world wide whilst shaking the dance floors of renowned venues including Sankeys Ibiza, BCM and many others. His intricate originals have also seen him release on the likes of Toolroom, Defected and others as well as receiving continued DJ backing from heavyweights, Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet among others.  With an array of releases that have landed in the Beatport Top 10, the Retrospective EP is sure to a hold similar fate. 

Elsewhere, Paul Darey has cemented himself on the scene since his breakthrough with Roger Sánchez at the Release Yourself pre-party at Café Mambo. Since his rise, Paul has graced labels including Cr2, Defected, Deeperfect and many more with this Sola release marking his first impressive release of 2019.

Steve Hope returns to Kittball with a single entitled 'Paradise Garage' in tribute to the iconic New York venue.
Dropping his debut solo release on Kittball in 2014, the charismatic Austrian producer has since gone on to release on labels like Under No Illusion, Hedonism, City Life, and more, not to mention contributing to Kittball's renowned charity compilation series 'It Began In Africa'. He's also proven time and time again that he's one of Vienna's key DJs with regular appearances at the capital's best venues, whilst also performing across Europe including Berlin's Salon Zur Wilden Renate and Barcelona's La Terrrazza.
Built on precision kicks and piercing snares, 'Paradise Garage' incorporates a sultry bassline and subtle melodies whilst an infectious spoken word vocal operates throughout. At one point just after the halfway point all elements are removed from the mix to let the sample do its thing, generating a suspenseful atmosphere, before the track rolls back into action - this is a number geared for the peaktime.
