The East Coast’s best-kept secret, Archie Bang aka Archie from the popular Tidal web series Money and Violence , is quickly remerging as Brooklyn' latest icon. His debut music video, Jealousy, featuring West Coast native, Nipsey Hussle, broke one million hits during the first hour it was featured on WorldStarhiphop.com and is considered a street classic. Born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn; a city famed for its eclectic mix of Caribbean and American culture, and for producing major global music industry notables like Special ED and Busta Rhymes, Archie’s ascent to the top is atypical. A strict upbringing by hard working Haitian parents, coupled with their tough love, allowed Archie to progress in a city wrought with violence. In an attempt to escape, Archie also had his own game plan. He would use music as a way to shed his violent environment. Armed with pen and paper, he began writing, and eventually, his lyrics allowed him to secure a deal as part of the group, Dirty Water. However, escaping the trappings of easy money proved to be too difficult to surmount, and shortly after signing with J Records Imprint, Archie was forced to turn himself in on an armed robbery case.

Archie’s greatest regret has always been ignoring his conscience on the fateful night that led to his subsequent prison sentence. He spent the next seven years of his life, in prison like the character he plays on the show, but he wisely refused to surrender to defeat. His days and nights there, eventually inspired lyrics for several records, including, 'Jealousy' featuring Nipsey Hussle, 'My Life', and 'All That You Need'. All three tracks were featured on the, DJ Whoo Kid hosted, 2010 'Nothing to Lose' Mixtape, in March 2010. An online viral buzz was generated, and a year later, came the solid support of DJ Kay Slay, who promoted 'My Life' on Hot 97 in New York. Archie Bang released his first official single 'City of God', which was pushed heavily to worldwide radio outlets, and reached the top 10 of the Rap Attack Lives Charts for several weeks. 

2014 marked the release of his single with Philadelphia's Rich Quick. Produced by J57 of the Brown Bag AllStars, 'Breakfast' instantly took off as the #1 song on DJ Booth.com for the month of June. The music video also received pick up from Vevo and MTV. Soon after Archie dropped his critically acclaimed Never Say Die vol.1  Archie is the definition of relentless.
