The intricate schemes policy makers use to slip public money to private often religious schools through the Back door are mind bending.  Furthermore, they are borderline criminal.  Politicians are creating 100% tax credit incentives for high income donors to donate to private school charities.  All to disguise tax dollars being used to fund private schools.  This latest scheme is going to fuel the depletion of funding for public schools.  As a result according to a 2017 UFT web page, we are going to start seeing more segregated schools and increased discrimination.  Turner (2017) and the UFT webpage bring to light that these same private religious schools receiving state funding teach biblical concepts like creationism in science classes, while ignoring scientifically supported concepts.  These policies are going to create more division and less social equity.  The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
