Maeksll is a techno producer and DJ from Basel whose music is characterised by openness to different styles, but remains firmly rooted in techno. Inspired by the hypnotic sound of the early 2010s and warm house chords, he creates rhythmic yet emotional tracks. His productions are characterised by movement, subtle melancholy and nostalgia and combine repetitive structures with constant development. His DJ sets also follow this approach, focussing on groove, mood and narrative rather than trends. His focus is always on an honest, profound exploration of music, far removed from mere spectacle.

Muski, born and raised in Malta, discovered his passion for electronic music through the local underground techno scene in 2014. Known for his fast-paced, hypnotic style and refined track selection, he began playing gigs shortly after. In 2015, he co-founded Xpose, hosting artists like Newa, Amotik, CJ Bolland, and Exium. Since 2018, he has been a key figure behind In.di.go and waX—two major local events developed with Solid Tracks Records—featuring acts such as ANNĒ, Alarico, KR!Z, and Blasha & Allatt.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE TECHNO SCENE NEEDS LESS OF RIGHT NOW?

"THE TECHNO SCENE IS STRONG AT THE MOMENT....YOU CAN SEE IT FROM THE JAM-PACKED DANCEFLOORS. I WOULD SAY HOWEVER THAT WE NEED LESS PEOPLE USING MOBILES ON THE DANCEFLOOR. IT KILLS THE VIBE, AND THE INDIVIDUAL STOPS BEING PRESENT IN THE MOMENT. THE CONNECTION PEOPLE HAVE WITH THE MUSIC, AND THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE CROWD AND THE DJ IS SOMETHING SPECIAL WHEN IT HAPPENS THE RIGHT WAY, AND THAT SHOULD NOT BE LOST."


CAN TECHNO STILL DISTURB, OR HAS IT BECOME TOO COMFORTABLE?

"OVER THE YEARS TECHNO HAS BECOME ONE OF THE MAIN GENRES WHERE PEOPLE CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER ESPECIALLY IN TERMS OF COMMUNITY. DESPITE THIS, THE OLD VIEW OF TECHNO, WHICH WAS SEEN AS A KIND OF TABOO GENRE MAKING IT A DISRUPTIVE FORCE, IS SLOWLY FADING MAKING IT MUCH MORE ACCESSIBLE. MORE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THE CULTURE SURROUNDING TECHNO."


IS INNOVATION IN ELECTRONIC MUSIC BEING LED BY SOUND, CONTEXT, OR ATTITUDE TODAY?

"IN THE LAND OF MAINSTREAM TECHNO, I BELIEVE INNOVATION IS BEING DRIVEN BY ATTITUDE. IN CERTAIN CASES, I FEEL THAT TECHNO NO LONGER CARRIES THAT FUTURISTIC VIBE ANYMORE – IT’S TRUE THAT THERE’S A LOT OF GREAT MUSIC COMING OUT BUT TECHNOLOGY HAS MADE IT EASIER FOR LESS MUSICALLY-MINDED ARTISTS AND HAS ALSO STIFLED HUMAN CREATIVITY. IT’S EASIER TO BUILD WHEN THERE ARE ALL THESE TEMPLATES AROUND.
AS IS ALWAYS THE CASE, SOME SUPER TALENTED ARTISTS ARE PUSHING THROUGH THIS AND USING THE IMPROVED TOOLS TO GET EVEN MORE CREATIVE AND PRODUCE SOME AMAZING TECHNO SOUNDS."

Tobi Lack is a DJ and producer from Frankfurt - a well-established name in the local scene. Over the years, he has immersed himself in the history and creative potential of Frankfurt’s techno culture, with the city and its legacy leaving a deep imprint on his sound.

Through various event collectives - most recently the evolving event and podcast series https://soundcloud.com/habitus-ffm - he has played a key role in shaping the regional scene. His music is defined by soulful, hypnotic soundscapes layered over deep, driving rhythms that fill the entire room.

With a keen sense for the right groove at the right moment, Tobi’s carefully curated selections continuously evolve into rich, dynamic DJ sets. Expect nothing less than a true sonic journey - one that moves through emotional highs and lows and lingers long after the night is over.

Hekato est une DJ présente sur la scène depuis 2019. Cofondatrice du collectif et du label en pleine expansion Całość, elle s’est imposée comme l’un des talents les plus reconnaissables de Pologne. Grâce à une série de performances marquantes dans son pays, elle est devenue une invitée régulière à Berlin. Elle s’est produite dans des lieux emblématiques tels qu’Anomalie, About Blank et le légendaire Tresor.

Hekato baigne dans la musique et l’art depuis l’enfance. Elle a appris le chant et la danse folkloriques dès son plus jeune âge et s’est également intéressée à la peinture. Originaire de Rybnik, elle vit aujourd’hui à Wroclaw, où elle développe sa carrière musicale.
D’abord fascinée par la deep techno, elle s’est progressivement tournée vers des sonorités plus rapides, intégrant même des accents trance dans ses sets. Ses performances ne font aucun compromis : la qualité et l’originalité y sont toujours au premier plan.

Malgré une forte présence scénique, Hekato reste une âme introvertie qui exprime ses émotions à travers la musique, emmenant ses auditeurs dans un voyage sonore profond.

Hekato is a DJ who has been in the scene since 2019. As a co-founder of the collective and the rapidly growing ‘Całość’ label, she has established herself as one of Poland’s most recognizable talents. With a series of outstanding performances in the country, she has become a frequent guest in Berlin. She has visited such renowned venues as Anomalie, About Blank and the legendary Tresor.

Hekato has been involved in music and art since childhood. She learned folk singing and dancing as a child, and was also interested in painting. She is originally from Rybnik, but now lives in Wroclaw, where she is developing her musical career.
Initially fascinated by deep techno, as time passed, she began to lean towards faster sounds, even weaving trance accents into her sets. Her performances are devoid of compromise, and she prioritizes quality and originality.
Despite her strong onstage personality, Hekato is an introverted soul who expresses her emotions through music while taking listeners on a deep sonic journey.
