"Music and visual always first" - a spirit that always bear in his mind, he dive through in different trance between bright and dark, he have his unique touch and emotional sound in his music, he is MM Minimano.


[The Rise of MM Minimano]
Living in diversity of art and culture from Hong Kong, MM was raised with wide range of music genres since his early age. One day he heard a melody of System F song “Out of the Blue” from the TV ad of “trance mission” - a trance compilation that released in Hong Kong. He soon realised Trance is the genre that he will like the most, at 15 years of age.

During the secondary school life, MM found his schoolmate with same music interest with him, they both play and figure out the DJ mixing, soon his classmate learning ACID Pro and FL Studio, than recommend to MM, and this is the time that MM step in the  road to remix and DJ mixing of electronic dance music.

What makes trance so important to MM : The harmonic and atmosphere that spread by it, the energy and groove delivered by it, the soul and meaning blessed by it.

With the influences with many Trance Legend : Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, you will found that dark, underground, atmospheric, uplifting and groovy vibe is the signature sound of MM.


[The journey of Trance and Music]
MM really in love with Trance, that's why his amateur online radio channel – "Beyond of your Hope AirMix" were born at 2008. He created many episodes to let people reach and rejoice into the Trance music thru Internet.

MM did participate into Hong Kong local event as guest DJ to spread the love of Trance,

2014 was the biggest year of MM, with the co-founding with Rase Raymond Mak and Randy Choi, we launched a rising trance party brand - "tranception". We periodically to organise party in Hong Kong to spread and showcase the latest trend in Trance. MM highly participate in it to deliver the visual design of everything relate to tranception and as a resident artist and VJ to perform in the tranception party. and we had our launch party in a venue located in Hong Kong Central.

2015, tranception growing bigger and spread it roadmap from  Hong Kong to Taiwan, we collaborate with the legendary trance label "Black Hole Recordings" and the indie music label in Hong Kong "Love Da Records" to release a trance compilation that mixed by Rase Raymond Mak, released both online and physical in Hong Kong and Taiwan Market. MM was helping of all artwork related works to this project.

At 2016, tranception keep continue the success of 2015, organized two sold out events that featuring International Trance DJ Ferry Tayle as headliner both in Taiwan Kaohsiung and Hong Kong, the Kaohsiung one is located in Muse Kaohsiung, and MM did the closing set at there for Ferry Tayle.
