An experienced and intuitive multi-instrumentalist and composer with a wide range of credits covering nearly every genre imaginable, from huge, lush orchestral scoresto gritty rock and roll, from twangy swamp rock to EDM, Russell has not only composed and performed the scored for shows such as the Emmy winning ‘Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution’ for ABC, but has also composed and performed the title themes for 7 of those same shows. Russell scored the award winning documentary, ‘Kelly’ in 2012 and has composed for several other scripted projects in the moments between TV projects, short-form commercials and infomercials.

  With production schedules often demanding huge amounts of music in a very short time, Russell formed a production music house, Whatnot Industries, which has grown to include more than 30 talented composers who work together to create a high quality custom library for any project on an otherwise impossibly tight schedule. As a result, Russell is able to offer a range of composing services, from traditional single-composer to a modern hybrid model utilizing multiple composers and, when desired, existing library cues as well.

in early 2017, Russell's company Whatnot Industries was rebranded as HMX :: Human Music Exchange, and the HMX Music website was launched. Stay tuned for more developments as HMX Music expands it's composer roster and production music library, while HMX Media prepares to launch it's grounbreaking software.

JST/N is the new project from Southern California singer/songwriter Justin Linn, a 25+ year touring veteran known for his work with Save Ferris, Bleed the Dream, and The New Addiction. He’s performed internationally and toured with artists such as My Chemical Romance, Goldfinger, Less Than Jake, Sum 41, and Yellowcard. JST/N blends cinematic California alt-rock with pop-punk energy, launching with the first single “Palm Trees + Heartbreak.”

Mendon Hale grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri.  While he has lived in many different cities and states (including Nashville and Texas), his heart and home were always in Missouri, where he resides once again.  Throughout his extensive and diverse music career, Hale has lent his songwriting skills and musical expertise to numerous albums across various genres, including one RIAA Gold album in Japan.

In 2020, he took a significant leap forward by independently releasing a self-produced album, setting the stage for a fruitful collaboration with his close friend and accomplished producer Marshall Altman (Aaron Watson, Josh Abbott Band, and Frankie Ballard). This partnership resulted in the 2021 EP titled "Hand on the Heartland," which garnered widespread streaming appreciation and saw its music videos in rotation on esteemed channels like CMT and The Country Network.

Hale reunited with Altman to embark on his eagerly anticipated second EP, “Just Goodbye” which was released on January 19th 2024, further solidifying his artistic prowess while captivating audiences across the country music landscape.
