This is our first single off our album, "Gone is Your Ghost," which we plan to release in Summer 2025. The album is a modern reworking of the ancient myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. “In the Borderlands (the Wanderer & the Outcast, Pt. 3)” imagines that Orpheus successfully rescued Eurydice from the underworld, and 20 years into the relationship he finds himself conflicted about his view of her.



The main theme of the song is the search for meaning despite alienation. The central line, "You are not the creature I thought you were," is left purposefully ambiguous, inviting the listener to live in the tension of Orpheus' uncertain view of his beloved.



This track incorporates harpsichord I built, bowed vibraphone, and a vintage rotary telephone, among other found instruments.
