Normandie is not only the astonishing landscape located in the northwestern part of France. It is moreover the DJ and music producer Norman Radek, from the northernmost part of Germany.
“wellness for the ears” describes Normandie´s esthetic and sophisticated productions. The sound will lead you to a world far away from your daily stress. His mix between downbeat, downtempo, lounge, and chillout combined with classical elements creates a surreal sounds which will remind you how to relax and dream again.

Very early, Normandie was fascinated by electronic music. His DJ experiences are going back to the late 90´s where he started at first with house and techno music. During the last decade he has developed his own music style and combines now the dynamics of dance music with floating downbeats and atmospheric sounds.Normandie enables the listener to drift through his musical worlds.

Bei Normandie handelt es sich nicht um die schöne Region im Nordwesten Frankreichs, sondern um Norman Radek, den Produzenten und DJ aus dem hohen Norden Deutschlands.Mit „Wellness für die Ohren“ beschreibt Normandie seine ätherischen und musikalisch ausgereiften Produktionen. Sie entführen den Hörer in Welten, die jenseits des Alltags liegen. Normandie spielt mit einer unverwechselbaren Mischung aus Downbeat, Downtempo, Lounge, Chillout und klassischen Klängen und kreiert so seine ganz eigenen abstrakten Klangwelten, die zum Entspannen und Träumen einladen!

Normandie begeistert sich früh für die elektronische Musik. Seit Ende der 90iger steht er nunmehr selbst hinter den Plattentellern. Anfangs begann er mit treibendem House und Techno die Tanzflächen zu verzaubern. Er entwickelte sich weiter und hat es geschafft die Dynamik des Tanzbaren in seine entspannten atmosphärischen Kompositionen einfließen zu lassen. Normandie ermöglicht es dem Hörer sich durch seine musikalischen Welten treiben zu lassen.

Simon Erkens alias m.a.z.e saw the light of the day on 1981, in a town near by Stuttgart. His enthusiasm for any kind of music was revealed quite early. By the age of 17 the electronic music captured his whole attention. It enhanced everything what this “main direction” of music includes: from House and Drum n`Bass till Techno. After all Techno music “caught” his interest. His passion for proactive, uplifting and always danceable Techno continues to this day, what one can notice from his sets. As co-founder of the “rummpelkammer” m.a.z.e can look back on his own multitudinous events as well as external gigs and rightly affirm that he called the fan´s attention to himself.
