In this episode, HC4US hosts Dr. Jerome Hoffman where he discusses his experience in our broken healthcare system and his fight for healthcare justice.

Dr. Jerome Hoffman has a prolific career in medicine as an emergency physician, professor, toxicologist, researcher and lecturer.  He is the recipient of numerous awards and has been the keynote speaker for meetings on five continents.  Currently active in the Santa Barbara chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program, Dr. Hoffman is also the California Coordinator of Students for a National Health Program.

A nationally recognized leader in climate policy, sustainability, and community empowerment, Aura played a pivotal role in advancing LA’s transition to 100% renewable energy and shaping the city’s Green New Deal.

An immigrant from Colombia, Aura brings a global perspective to driving bold, people-centered climate solutions. She ran for Los Angeles City Council to bring inclusive, community-driven leadership to City Hall and remains committed to encouraging civic engagement in her community.

Aura currently serves on her Neighborhood Council and leads building electrification work for the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter.
