Approaching its 20th year, Anjunadeep has become “one of dance music’s ultimate tastemaker labels” (Billboard). Known for breaking global artists like Ben Böhmer, Lane 8, Tinlicker and Dusky, the label has a reputation as “an A&R hotbed” (Resident Advisor).

Now, the label launches its new imprint titled ‘Anjunadeep Explorations’ this July. ’The ‘Explorations’ imprint is an evolution of the much-loved Various Artist EP series of the same name, which spanned 25 editions between 2016-2023 on Anjunadeep. Responsible for bringing through now-mainstay acts to the label such as Ben Böhmer, CRi, Luttrell, Rezident and Simon Doty, the series has also featured underground talents like Theo Kottis, Sam Goku and Gacha Bakradze. The label will focus on unearthing the next generation of electronic music talent, as well as introducing established acts to the Anjuna roster.

The label’s first release is an exclusive 12” sampler, comprising six tracks from artists signed to the label including Chris Luno, Klur and Marley Carroll, with individual digital releases to follow. The vinyl is a limited run of hand-stamped white label vinyl.

Jam Deluxe was born in 1978 in Ghent (Belgium). From the age of 15 Jam Deluxe has expressed his expansive and magical perception of our world through music and art. Being introverted, as well as being raised between two cultures, allowed him to view society through a lens that captures the dynamics and subjective experiences in society from unique angles. Introspection keeps sculpting the immensely inspired inner world from which he quietly creates. But don’t let his quiet demeanour fool you! You will soon learn that sometimes, words are just limitations to the creative depths of certain souls. Once this DJ gets behind the turntables, these depths musically erupt into a lava stream of hot hypnotic beats and atmospheric melodies.

As a DJ and producer, Jam Deluxe has been making people dance to ‘the beat of his own drum’ since the early 1990s. Passionately constructing musical spaces through rhythm, proportion and harmony. His captivating DJ skills allow him to invite you into his world, where he shows you just how beautifully loud his personality really is, making it irresistible for your feet not to move to the structures of the sonic tapestries he weaves on the dancefloor.
