La muerte de la cantante Dolores O'Riordan, líder de la banda de rock irlandesa The Cranberries, deja un vacío para una generación de roqueros de la década de los 90 que crecieron con su música.
The Cranberries debutó en 1993 con el álbum Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, pero su fama mundial llegó un año después con su álbum No need to argue, que incluía la canción Zombie, quizá la más conocida de la banda.
Inspirada en el dolor
La canción escrita por O'Riordan, es un lamento en contra de la guerra inspirado en la muerte de Tim Parry y Johnathan Ball, de 12 y 3 años.
Ambos murieron por el estallido de una bomba del grupo armado Ejército Republicano Irlandés (IRA), el 20 de marzo de 1993 en Warrington, Inglaterra, que también dejó a decenas de personas heridas.
El IRA fue la principal organización armada católico-republicana en Irlanda del Norte que durante las décadas utilizó la violencia para lograr que este territorio dejara de formar parte de Reino Unido y se incorporara a la República de Irlanda.
The song, written by O'Riordan, is an anti-war lament inspired by the deaths of 12 and 3 year old Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball.
Both were killed by the explosion of a bomb by the armed group Irish Republican Army (IRA), on March 20, 1993 in Warrington, England, which also injured dozens of people.
The IRA was the main Republican-Catholic armed organization in Northern Ireland that over the decades used violence to get this territory out of the UK and into the Republic of Ireland.

Jesús Bellota was born in Spain. He studied Law and an MBA in Birminghan University, United Kingdon. He also did studies at Professional Pioneer DJ  player at INTED Elecronic Music School, Madrid.
