Sad dream is a psychedelic band based in Pittsburgh. Consisting of two members, Carson Graef and Kai blood. Their debut E.P "Wish for Night' is currently being written and produced by the duo. They work in tandem, Carson writes the songs, Kai produces and sings them.

Their first official release Flower Moon, a psychedelic rock song. First written in December 2022. Featuring a hauntingly soothing soundscape. Giving their audience a first glance into the transcendent world they are creating. This “world” can be viewed by watching the corresponding video on YouTube. Found under s6ddream In where you can watch the psychedelic nature of the song come to life in a 70s horror rock noir movie style. Full of references to Kai’s favorite movie “Belladonna of Sadness” 

The pair met at college in Downtown Pittsburgh and have been performing together since the summer of 2022. Originally performing covers of their favorite songs and posting them on SoundCloud for whoever wanted to listen.Their band name was created at a show they were performing at. They hadn’t thought of a name so Kai went on his liked songs and found Sky Ferreira’s song Sad Dream, then asked Carson to see if he liked the name. He did. And from then on they were named Sad Dream

The band's hard work has earned them headlining slots in the area's top venues, such as 9:30 Club, Rock and Roll Hotel, The State Theater, Empire and Jammin' Java, as long as supporting major touring acts such as Andrew WK, The Misfits, DRI, and Emery.
