Composed by Mn. F. Baldelló in 1955, the melody featured in these 6 seconds is an hymn dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, whose solemnity in the liturgical calendar of the Latin Church falls 19 days after Pentecost, always on a Friday. One of the places in the Old Quarter Barcelona where this devotion takes place is the church of Saint James, where there is an altar dedicated to it.

According to Claudius Ptolemy, the zodiac equals to 2 octaves of the diatonic scale. Then we can establish a division in 360 microtones, (180-TET)where every grade of the zodiac, and thus every day of the year has its corresponding micro-tone.

Being 19 days after Pentecost, the day for the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus can fall from May 29th to July 2nd, which in the zodiac equals to 9º♊︎ to 11º♋︎, thus equaling to a range from D -47 to E -34 in Ptolemy's tonal zodiac. In this case, the date employed has been the one for this year 2021 feast of the Sacred Heart: 11 June = 21º♊︎ = D +34. This is the note that the bassline plays in this segment of track.

The melody pitch has been shifted 5 semitones upwards from its original tone, so it fits with the bass in a Phrygian mode, in order to mantain the maximum harmonic continuity within the context of the full track.

This adaptation, together with the full production, has been carried by Marc O'Callaghan in 2020; and finally mastered by Roc J. de Cisneros in 2021.

Started almost ten years ago, when I was still heavily influenced by melodic jungle and breakbeat and actively playing piano, this album was shaped by artists such as London Elektricity, Sewerslvt, and neo-classical genres. It became a meeting point between these worlds, where electronic rhythm and melodic expression coexist. After years of evolution, detours, and refinement, this album has finally been completed.

In this album, I express myself through what I see, feel, and live. Moments of light and darkness alike are captured as fragments of memory, transformed into a continuous musical journey. Each track is an invitation to step into a small, safe space, where the listener can let their imagination unfold, forming personal emotional connections. The music does not dictate a story; it guides it, allowing each listener to project their own vision while being gently led through sound.
