Robi Insinna aka Headman consolidates a mix of brand new and previously released tracks on his latest compilation, not forgetting to incorporate some of the best Headman remixes. This newly harvested compilation joins the dots between extravagant techno and the somber avant-garde, diving deep into the open road of cult classics and bold machine funk. The compilation will be released digitally in two sets, along with a limited edition hand-numbered CD, which include special artwork.

Set I - Kicking things off is an exclusive 90's inspired retro affair by French producer,Mondowski. Slowly easing its way into the mix is Manfredas remix of underground hit "Work", followed by Bozzwell, who guides us along with his poetic lyrics and tainted electro. We slowly make our way to the epicenter of electronic club culture with Scandi producers Kasper Bjørke and Sexi Lazer's alias The Mansister, steadily building the driving Techno beat prevalent in Maya Danon's production. Relish alumni Morgan Hammer returns with a dark track, championing the spirit of rebellion. Robi Insinna is up next with his new motoric dance track "Main Gates", prepping the stage for Herectic featuring Justine's moody ambience and chilling vocals. Headman and Red Axes take back the stage with their sultry and exceptionally voluptuous groove, what's to follow is a NYC legends, Whatever Whatever's remix of old school luminary, Stephan Eicher, closing the first set on a musical high.

Set 2 - The compilation continues with Tel Aviv heroes, Red Axes remix of German New Wave diva Gina X filling the room with her luscious vocals. Next up, is Daniel Avery's slow and chuggy remix of Headman's massive track, "Be Loved", released in late 2011.Headman's rework of Scott Frasers "Paraphrase Mine" follows, and doesn't fail to deliver, then comes a collaboration with Nitzer Ebb's Douglas J McCathy and it was given the Daniel Maloso treatment. Next up is Daniel Avery's Original release on Relish, a Kraut influenced piece of electro that propels us into Richard Fearless Death in Vegas' techno infused drones. Now we take a breather with Rework's remix of Remain, slowly pumping us back into a steady trance, and dropping us with Kim Ann Foxman's audacious remix of International.Andy Meecham aka The Emperor Machine keeps on the driving the beat with his cheeky remix, it's followed Timothy J. Fairplay's remix of Scott Fraser's "Centreville Lapse", wrapping things off with distinction.

Dark Matter Synthesis

The top futuristic year is 12006: next up on label-owner David Vunks Moustache Recordings label is a collaboration between him and fellow Rotterdam rogue, Ben La Desh who between them have combined to produce two tracks full of spaced out house, techno, electronic and disco feelings. First up, Turner drops a rich colour palette of vibrant space disco prize strings. The creeping cresecendo of synth-led brushstrokes paint a rich impressionistic glow interpersed with positive vocal samples drifting through like dutch boats in a gale. Next up Deep Valley takes off over the snow-capped mountain tops and towards the flowing river of deep techno drums. Eerie soaring strings and isolated vocal snaps conjure up images of cavernous depths of deep sea and space as we go deeper into the valley of the dolls. With releases coming on strong over the past few years La Desh continues his ascent into production adulthood on the 21st release on Moustache Recordings while Vunks typical high-class production values shine through this entire release. Further collaborations between this duo would be only gezellig.

Uncanny Valley and Permanent Vacation are joining forces for an Uncanny Vacation! There has always been a lively exchange between Dresden and Munich and both labels are known for releasing a wide variety of music so it was only natural to team up for a joint release.

The record starts off with Permanent Vacation-regular and UK-veteran DMX Krew and his “Astro Logical” which is as sharp and crisp as Electro can go. The bass line strikes hard but he also squeezes some great melancholic synth lines out of his machines. After that, Uncanny Valley’s Sandrow M finally gives access to the much in demand live version of “Prayervan”, a tune that everybody has been singing along during his live sets. 

On the flipside, Jacob Korn (who already released on both labels) hands in “Eieiei” which rises on a percussion-heavy drum basement to a discoid House stomper thanks to an irresistible sample straight from an obscure flea market find. Last but not least, Drvg Cvltvre from the Netherlands delivers a tropical House jam. “See You Again” is riding on a funky Disco bass line and creates a warm and cosy atmosphere with a whole bag of sound ideas.

Alexander Dorn aka Credit 00 adds his graphical talents to the record’s sleeve with a brilliant tribute to 1990s adventure video games.

Following on from '6 EPI' and '6 EPII 'vinyl exclusives, 6 EP lll is a full digital release with 200 vinyl copies and artwork specially screen printed by RELISH label head Robi Insinna. The release has 3 remixes by Manfredas, Alejandro Paz, Shift Work and Reworks and Dubs by Headman/ Robi Insinna. There will also be 2 Videos done by Robi, one for 'Something' and another one for 'Work' Manfredas version.
 
Manfredas, who released his single last year on Ivan Smagghes LDdlm, remixes 'WORK'. The additional lyrics are by Autarkic an upcomig singer / producer from Tel Aviv who is part of the Red Axes stable.

Alejandro Paz of Mathias Aguayo's Comemé label who has released tracks such as 'Duro', remixes 'TAKE ME TO THE TOP.' The remix reflects his raw dance floor approach whilst adding rhythm and groove to the origional

Shift Work a new London based electronic project, who made their debut on Optimo Music, remix 'SLEEP RED!' They've been described as "Machine music for hypno dance floors and home listening trance outs" 

Track 4 is Robi Insinna's own rework of 'SOMETHING' feat David Shaw on vocals. Robi's aim was to reinterpret the track, extend it and play around with the music as well as retouching and mixing the exsisting sounds. 'NUMBER 9' was also newly mixed with a new arrangement as well as extended. 'DONA' featuring Rosie from Ballet School, was given a dub treatment with a more monotonous driving groove and stripping down the original elements, like Bass and Synth and dubbing out Rosies vocals.

Finally comes 'TAKE ME TO THE DUB' Version, now with a real dub feel, muting things out and dropping them in again.

Following our crew member Alan Dente's debut EP, Bordello A Parigi is releasing a sixth volume in the Riviera Disco series, which has been a cornerstone in the label's short history. The EP contains four tracks by Daniel Kyo, Mystery Of Science, Luca Dell'Orso, and a joint effort between our favourite Swiss outfit Jack Pattern, founders of Lustpoderosa, and one of their pal John Parsley. We had the pleasure to share the bill with Jack Pattern a few weeks ago in Zurich at the wonderful "Kauz" club and we can assure you they delivered a mesmerizing live show. Here is "Sequential Move", an analog sounding chugger with all the Italo ingredients : vocoder, frenzied arpeggios, electronic handclaps. What's not to like?

Kasper Bjørke’s re-focus on dance floor music on his upcoming ‘Fountain of Youth’ Mini-LP (out June 10th) continues with this exceptional, second remix part of the single Cloud 9.

Running Back labelboss Gerd Janson’s rework is a deep acid jam, just including a hint of the original vocals (performed by Urdur from Icelandic GusGus) and completely recontextualizing the source material, with its razor sharp rave synth theme. The title track Warning Code is machine psychedelia, introspective and full of energy.
Disco Rootz is the lovingly crafted, synth heavy title track that harks back to the glorious days of Italo disco and even more to its mid 00's revival.
Fabrizio Mamarella a hero for the 2 Milanesi, gives Disco Rootz an Acid Elektro makeover that boasts with energy.

About Justine

Justine is afrench producer and a vocalist. Her music production mostly influenced by new wave, cold wave, post punk, industrial and 80s music. 
Also part of Bagarre Perdue, a band formed with FLVN and Jordi. Plus one half of Permanent Wave, formed with Tronik Youth.

Robi Insinna is a Producer, DJ, Visual Artist and INDUSTRIA and RELISH owner.

Back in 2001 he founded the seminal Relish label in direct response to a then-dominant sound in club music. Its catalogue is as vast as it is varied and foreshadowing the music he'd go on to make himself under Headman/Manhead. Some highlights are IT ROUGH, Birth School Work Death, in the early years for the newer period tracks such as Be Loved, Dechainee. He also was busy remixing the likes of Roxy Music, The Gossip, Franz Ferdinand, The Units, Unknown Cases, Gina X and many more.
Relish has also been busy releasing international talents and remixes such as Daniel Avery, Red Axes, Borusiade, Manfredas.


Fast forward to 2018 he's on the move again launching new Project label, Industria with - not quite an album, not quite an EP - Hard Work. The debut was released under Robi's own name.
Industria will be focused more on vinyl releases, but not solely vinyl. The project will encompass all areas of Robi's work and ties together elements of his art and visual design projects and products.
