After the big success of Nu New Beat Vol.1 & 2, Fauve decided it was time to release Vol.3 and also to switch it up a bit.

The previous volumes were composed of only edits and reworks, but this one is a melting-pot between edits, covers, reworks & original tracks.

Spanish artist James Rod joins Roam Recordings with two original mid tempo driving psychedelic offerings. The title track Baila con Satán features a warped vocal backed by an energetic swirl of electronic mischief. Metatrone goes deeper with hypnotic trance inducing arpeggios and moving synth work. Duncan Gray returns to Roam with two remixes - one for each original. Duncan’s take on Baila con Satán keeps the psychedelic vibe of the ep but put it into more chill territory with live bass and guitar echoing about the ether. By contrast, Duncan Gray’s remix of Metatrone picks up the tempo and brings the acid.

Oblako Maranta is the collaboration between Radial Gaze and A-Tweed. The duo has already released several tracks in different compilations by Samo Records, Electric Shapes, Playground Records, as well as their debut EP “Maranta Kicks” on Duro.

In their new EP “Trance Beckenbauer”, the St-Petersburg-based Radial Gaze and Rome-based A-Tweed produced 4 original tracks that finely blend the sound of each artist, where slow tribal techno meets acid weird disco.

Starting off with the title track “Trance Beckenbauer”, Oblako Maranta brings us through a cinematic voyage, paced by percussive wonders and catchy bass lines, hypnotizing the listener from the first kick on. The atmosphere is dark, trippy, beautifully loved in an analog synth “duvet”. With that feeling of timelessness, “Trance Beckenbauer” sounds like the perfect fit for the next Blade Runner´ s soundtrack.

Next on the tracklisting is “Putos Mosquitos”, a tune that gives a feel of crossing a jungle full of wild life, with weird acid patterns on repeat, groovy percussions, and that sense of limitless adventure as the track plays on.

“Congarella di Luna” is a bewitching tune blending a mesmerizing melody with dreamy pads, finely arranged as the drop brings the energy down before reaching its paroxysm: an irresistible melodic pattern that will leave no one still on the dancefloor.

The fourth track “Analog Garbage” ´should bring any human being on the planet to an ecstatic state as it infuses that energy that makes you move fast and forward, without looking back. Indeed, “Analog Garbage” is driven by a fat bass riff and a kick-drum that tirelessly hammers the pace, while acid melodies are raining as the track unfolds. And there is that drop…

The EP is completed with first-in-class remixes by Inigo Vontier and Zillas on Acid, who reworked “Putos Mosquitos” and “Congarella di Luna”, respectively.

Two classically trained musicians from vastly different traditions, MD Pallavi and Andi Otto came together to create a jewel of a record in ’Songs for Broken Ships’ and Multi Culti have whipped up a stunning remix package for it featuring Simone de Kunovich, Auntie Flo, Peter Power, Kaleema and more.

Hailing from Bangalore, trained in Hindustani music and poetry since childhood, MD Pallavi’s beautiful voice makes an elegant companion to cellist / composer / producer Andi Otto’s idiosyncratic and unconventional style. Andi’s music has featured on labels such as Shika Shika and Pingipung (which he co-runs and curates) and, of course, Multi Culti, who released his previous album ‘Bow Wave’ which featured his first collaboration with Pallavi.

While the heart of "Songs for Broken Ships" showcased the duo's unique meld of cross-cultural folktronica and acoustic ballads with MD Pallavi's poetic Kannada verses at the core, "Remixes from the Clouds” reframes these elements for a vast spectrum of electronic listeners and club go-ers.

An ethereal hypnotic techno re-interpretation of ‘Prayer to the Cloud’ from Italian producer Simone de Kunovich. Scottish ambient maestro and mushroom aficionado Auntie Flo's ecstatic reinterpretation of "Clockshop". Multi Culti veteran downtempo wizard Peter Power's organic and earthy rendition of "Prayer to the Cloud." The mystic sounds of Kaleema breathing new percussive life into "Clockshop". The package concludes with a 'prayer-a-pella' version of "Prayer to the Clouds", spotlighting MD Pallavi's vocals in their purest form, for DJs and producers seeking to slather their rhythms with spiritual voice.

The Multi Culti imaginarium also present an expanded digital package that includes mixes from Hannah Lee, Bliz Nochi & Emil Jourjou, Migramara, and Poligra. In the words of Shawn Christopher: "people from all nations, dancing together." Celestial harmony, one 12” at a time.

The space shuttle Discovery was completed on August 12, 1983, and launched on its maiden flight on August 30, 1984 (STS-41-D). The internal designation for the Space Shuttle is OV-103, where OV stands for Orbiter Vehicle. With its landing on March 9, 2011, the space shuttle completed its final mission, STS-133. With 39 flights, Discovery is the most frequently used space vehicle.

This instrumental song by Synthewomia recalls the glorious yet tragic era of the Space Shuttles. We marveled at them and admired them. And we shed tears at the tragic disasters of Challenger and Columbia.

Headman/ Robi Insinna has done many remixes over the years aside from his Headman and Manhead projects and running Relish. He always liked reinterpreting classic tracks that inspired him or that he was a fan of. Ranging from the mid 70's to the early 80's, this album features a handful of classics Reworked. Roxy Music hails from an era that started shaping the late 70's avant-garde scene. it turns to Italo Disco classics like Klein M.B.O. and N.O.I.A., essential to the formation and inspiration for bands like New Order. Synth-Punk group The Units with the High Pressure Days Rework through to electronic-afro-funk of The Unknown Cases over to Swiss artist Stephan Eicher from Grauzone fame.
Reworks features tracks that are soft-spots for Robi, and have inspired him to produce his own music. He tries to keep as much of the original as possible, slightly updating and adapting to modern-day dance floors. The essence, intended to be kept alike and preserved.
A rework of Fred Ventura kicks off the album, it’s featured on the limited edition 7” Vinyl, originally produced by the Godfathers of Italo Disco, Turatti and Chieregato over 30 years ago. N.O.I.A.’s hit from the early 80’s is reworked to produce a tune that’s current to todays dance floors. One of John Peel’s favourites of 83’, The Unknown Cases sweeps in – the rework was released on Relish EP V Vinyl in 2014, an afro/cosmic treasure in Robis vinyl collection. Headman’s Dub of The Units follows; Robi first heard this on a Baldelli mix from the early 80’s, since then it’s become one of his favourite tracks. The Units were the corner stone of an unofficial movement, later called “synth punk” and which would come to define a greater west coast DIY culture combining new synthetic sounds. The next Rework is from Klein & M.B.O. “Dirty talk” fame. The anticipators of New Orders early 80’s sound.
RIS Remix dates from 2004, it was a classic Italo Disco hit that inspired and shaped the sound of Headman, Manhead and Relish. Gina X, and her 1979 release No G.D.M. gets a 2016 Headman rework. His first remix was released in 2003 on Gigolo. The second half also features a rework of Grauzone’s Stephan Eicher’s hit Nice. This was a very important rework for Robi, being a Swiss national and a big fan of Grauzone and Stephan Eicher. Swiss all girl punk band Kleenex wrote and performed Nice originally. The next release came out on Roxy Music’s 2006 Roxy Music Remix project album, Headman’s rework Dub was unreleased to this date, and is also featured on the very limited edition 7”, to be released in conjunction with the album. This mix was done with the most respect for the original sounds and instrumentals; to hear them all separated was exciting and at the same time a challenge. The album closes off with another reworked dub of State of Art, formed in 1981, an Italian New wave band out of Milan and the former Band of Fred Ventura.

Robi Insinna is a Producer, DJ, Visual Artist and INDUSTRIA and RELISH owner.

Back in 2001 he founded the seminal Relish label in direct response to a then-dominant sound in club music. Its catalogue is as vast as it is varied and foreshadowing the music he'd go on to make himself under Headman/Manhead. Some highlights are IT ROUGH, Birth School Work Death, in the early years for the newer period tracks such as Be Loved, Dechainee. He also was busy remixing the likes of Roxy Music, The Gossip, Franz Ferdinand, The Units, Unknown Cases, Gina X and many more.
Relish has also been busy releasing international talents and remixes such as Daniel Avery, Red Axes, Borusiade, Manfredas.


Fast forward to 2018 he's on the move again launching new Project label, Industria with - not quite an album, not quite an EP - Hard Work. The debut was released under Robi's own name.
Industria will be focused more on vinyl releases, but not solely vinyl. The project will encompass all areas of Robi's work and ties together elements of his art and visual design projects and products.
