A somewhat mysterious DJ from France, Adrien has been lugging around a back-breaking collection of records gathered over 15 years of questionable life choices and obsessive digging. Moving to Amsterdam helped him discover new sounds and obscure subgenres, and gave him a fresh set of eyes on DJing. Amid the chaos his soft spot for disco has always found its way in his selections, and his sets are a hopeful attempt to make sense of it all.

Super Sound Global – those guys from around Munich, that have been on the fast lane since a couple of years. We’ve been coming across them on many ways. Not only Nic Jalusi’s Edit of “Sinai“ by greek 90s singer Alexandra caught our attention – also as you may know his side project Suncream eventually made us cross paths to work on the „Laguna Azur“ vinyl release on our Avec Plaisir imprint. Super does not only stand for SSG’s ability to find the right music and transform it into something that fits their very own sound aesthetic, it also describes pretty well the image the three guys create around their myth. Slow-paced beat tape releases underlined by perfectly animated graphics create a vibe as if Brooklyn was just across the Isar and their latest 4-track white label vinyl release proves that it’s a mistake to put SSG into the „Downtempo“ pigeon-hole. 
Knowing that plus the personal bond we’ve been developing over the last months erased any doubt that they wouldn’t be the best possibly headliner for our first Dr33333ams night at Arkaoda Berlin. Represented by Nic Jalusi and Balearic Eric SSG gave us a two-hour lesson in anything from progressive over acid, freestyle, new beat to hip house.
