Recorded between between 8 pm and 9 pm on a Tuesday night with a pair of NT55 omni microphones in a baffled AB array with 20 cm spacing into a MixPre-3. In the quieter moments, before and after the storm's passage, there is some background sound of machinery humming and workers moving things around at a nearby quarry. And of one low-flying propellered passenger plane passing over, heading to land at a small local airport; they don't usually fly this way, but were probably avoiding the oncoming storm. And of one possum.

The location is the same as in '2018.08.05 Night Rain and Tree Falling in Winter (Excerpt)' (https://soundcloud.com/hearingbeings/20180805-night-rain-and-tree-falling-in-winter-excerpt), which was recorded two months earlier, after midnight, on a Sunday morning, in late winter.
