They truly are a well intriguing band, them four lads and that one pretty lass of Loco Slickers. The main focus is obviously to fabricate danceable music, everything else comes primarily first. Like, for example, the corresponding lightshow that flickers with it. And they do not do it first and foremost for anything else than the dough. 
It then shows on stage how technically served they all are when fiddling with their instruments.
Electro is as common as twelve a penny, but an Electro-Live-Band is hard to come by in this part of the world or even internationally, that’s why compitition isn’t in the vocabulary of the Locos. 

The new album “SPEAKERFREAKIN’” promises a mark in the Loco’s so far longstanding history. What was created on the computer by Frequency Jones and Dan Agent shows true, mad and deep computence. Their sound is harder and more progressive and it feels like an Asian masseuse uses her stilettos to rub in some scented oils. The new record is simply put the bee’s eyes. It was a syphilean challenge which in the end was worth all the hard work. They feel a good feeling that the album is going to find favour. But no soft feelings! Listen to it for yourselves, everything else ain’t worth it.

Eine gut intigrierte Band sind sie schon, die vier Buben und das eine hübsche Meitli der Loco Slickers. Das Hauptaugenmerk der Band liegt natürlich darin, vor allem tanzbare Musik zu fabrizieren, alles andere ist primär. Wie zum Bleistift die dazugehörige Lichtshow. Und sie tun es nicht nur wegen des schnöden Mammuts.
Auf der Bühne zeigt sich dann, dass sie an ihren Instrumenten technisch alle sehr serviert sind.
Electro gibt’s bekanntlich wie Strand am Meer, wirklich viele Electro-Live-Bands gibt’s jedoch hierzulande oder sogar international nicht viel, daher ist Konkurenz ein Fremdwort.
Das neue Album „SPEAKERFREAKIN‘“ verspricht eine Zensur in der bisher langjährigen Geschichte der Locos. Was Frequency Jones und Danagent am Computer erschaffen haben, zeugt wahrlich nicht von Inkomputenz. Ihr Sound ist härter und progressiver geworden, fühlt sich an, als ob eine asiatische Masseuse mithilfe ihrer High heels ihren Rücken mit esoterischen Ölen einreibt. Die neue Platte ist schlichtweg das Wahre vom Ei. Es war zwar eine Syphilisarbeit, die ganze Arbeit hat sich aber belohnt. Vom Feeling her haben sie daher ein gutes Gefühl, dass die Platte Anklang finden wird. 
Aber Schwamm drunter! Selbst anhören, alles andere bringt’s nicht.

Phoenix93 is a dj & music producer from the United Kingdom. He has enjoyed and worked with many musical styles and dance music notaries since the early 90's when he began a noteable career as a club dj culminating in regular bookings & residencies up and down the United Kingdom at some of the scenes most recognisable underground clubs. 

An acclaimed producer and remixer in various genres Phoenix93 attempts to weave a rich life of musical influences and ideas into a tapestry of sound for the listener. Breaking lines, categories and definitions, while weaving intricate sounds that challenge the listeners pre-conceived ideas and perceptions. In his own words:

"I try to create an emotional texture for the listener where they create the headspace and make it individual and personal to themselves. By creating these textures I hope to give the listener a rich enough tapestry so they can create an emotional soundscape that they will return to, feel comfortable within and of course enjoy".

Since he began his blossoming production career, Phoenix93 has worked on a dizzying variety of projects as remixer, producer and guru to others. Often mentor, often facilitator the well spring of creativity that flows through his current is clear to see. 

After being approached by the influential Ace Paradise from the USA, Phoenix93 was asked to create an ambient piece entitled 'Paranormal Vigil'. The track was hand picked for inclusion into the debut of 'Paradise Picks 'a radio show broadcasting from Princeton in the USA reaching an estimated audience of 15million listeners.

Currently working on his concept album which is to be viewed as his first Opus, Phoenix93 continues to rock dancefloors accross different styles and genres receiving plaudits and worldwide recognition the army of phoenix93 fans continues to grow rapidly..
