Iridium DJ Presents A Trip Down Scot Project Lane (2000 - 2009) - September 2022

Frank Zenker better known as Scot Project, is the absolute king of Hard Trance! He's a German DJ based in Frankfürt. He is seen as one of the founders of Hard Trance. He is well known for the intricate way in which he builds his records, and in particular the long delay in the moment when the climax breaks loose. In addition, he has a patent on hard kick drums and sawing bass lines.
I'm a huge fan of his music and that's why I've made a mix representing the years 2000 till 2009.

Straight on Black was founded at the beginning of 2004. This is an experimental label where the producers of Straight On have their creative freedom. The style can be described as a mixture of all harder dance styles, like Techno, Hard Trance and Hardstyle. In 2022 DJ Pila & The Scientist relaunched the label as a Techno label.

This label was (straight) ahead of it's time...
Paving the way for today's new modern harder Techno dj's like Reinier Zonneveld, Fatima Hajji and others.

Welcome to my new showcase! Two Dutch giants in the spotlight. The Beholder (a.k.a. Neophyte) and Max Enforcer (a.k.a. Evil Activities) are such legends. I love their work in the hardstyle- as well as the hardcore scene. You can clearly hear the cross genre influences in these tracks. Just amazing ;)

Also, Zany deserves an huge honorable mention since he collaborated on some of the best tracks.
