This song is taken from a Japanese classical Rakugo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakugo), Manjukowai. 
The story: 
Several young people in the long house who had free time gathered and talked about things they don't like and scary things. " One of them arguing with ghosts, spiders, snakes, bats, caterpillars, and ants, "It's pathetic that good young people are afraid of silly things. There is a man who pretends that there is something scary in the world. When another man asks, "Is there really nothing scary?", the man who was lying reluctantly confesses, "There is a truth." " Then, what do you hate?" The man mutters "Manju" in a low voice. After that, the man said, "I feel sick just by talking about manju," and falls asleep in the next room (or going back to his own house).

The remaining men said, "I don't like him, so let's attack the manju and threaten him," and put out money, buy a lot of manju, pile it up in the tray, and bring it to the room where the man is sleeping. The man who woke up raised his voice when he saw the manju and was very upset, but he ate all the manju by saying, "Let's eat such a scary thing and lose it" and "It's too delicious, it's scary." The men who were looking at the whole thing noticed that they were deceived by the man. Angry men tweed the man and said, "What are you really scared of!" When I asked, "I'm afraid of a cup of strong tea around here."
