KX 93.5 is a noncommercial, nonprofit radio station broadcast at 93.5 FM to Laguna Beach and the surrounding communities in Orange County, California.

Launched in 2012, the station has quickly become a household name for its unique "generational alt rock" format; a mix of current alt rock, up-and-coming artists that we take pride in championing, and classic alternative rock. Enjoy live sets from artists we support on our SoundCloud.

The Watkins Family Hour is a monthly residency at the Los Angeles venue, Largo, led by siblings Sean and Sara Watkins. For the past nine years they've brought in an eclectic group of guest musicians including Benmont Tench, Fiona Apple, Grant Lee Phillips, Jackson Browne, John C. Reily, among others.
