As a result, two passengers are awakened 90 years early.

As soon as the stay-at-home policies kicked in, The Host and La La went back to what they did best, outside of movie reviews on YouTube: commentate on nostalgic animated properties. Complete with an extra dose of Don Bluth and Tim Curry zaniness, this is 1993's THE PEBBLE AND THE PENGUIN.

For their 10th nostalgic movie commentary track, The Host and La La decided to let their special guest, EMZ, make the pick, which turned out to be everything and nothing we expected it to be. The film in question is the Golden Films-produced animated (short) feature, ANASTASIA, which arrived the exact same year as the notable Don Bluth-produced box office hit. Full disclosure: this was probably the hardest I've laughed in many a year.

Putting on a palette cleanser with a film the three of us (The Host, La La, and EMZ) watched over and over during our separate youths, 3 NINJAS - brought to you from the director of NATIONAL TREASURE. However, the version we watched turned out to be the International Version, featuring scenes that were deemed too violent for that poor VHS tape we gladly wore out.
