The Melting Point series strikes again on Dame-Music.

Launched in late 2017, The Melting Point concept sees label founder Bloody Mary invite a selection of her favourite and most respected producers to offer up an exclusive cut that represents their own take on the acid sound.
Following the first 3 volumes of the series, which featured cuts from heavy hitters such as KiNK, Josh Wink, Hardfloor, Thomas P. Heckmann and more, Dame-Music now presents Volume 4 of the V/A acid series, as she welcomes four new guests including Fear-E, dyLAB, Freddy Fresh and UMWELT to share the record with her this December, to mark the imprint’s 46th release. Five tracks made by and for acid lovers!

After debuting on BPitch’s We Are Not Alone compilation, Frenchman Crystal Geometry arrives with his first full EP for the label. Showcasing his diversity across four distinct cuts, this is Crystal Geometry in playful and experimental mode, utilising his modular synth skills to bring us a powerful selection of tracks. 

‘Everlasting Ghost of an Acid Trip’ is a self-explanatory cut that dives deep into themes around death and LSD. With lyrics inspired by the early Norwegian black metal scene, he goes all out with the 303 line and hardcore-inspired beats. ‘Alien Abduction’ was made especially for BPitch, the modular synth taking centre stage as 80s percussion and washed out vocals do the work. 

‘Drink My Blood’ is one for the hardcore goths, allowing Crystal Geometry to express the depths of his dark soul. The lyrics say it all, "Drink, drink my blood! It's dark, like my soul. Feed! Feed on me, don't waste a drop of that gold". Finally, ‘The Promised Land’ addresses the dire situation in the Middle East, redefining the so-called Holy Land. The melancholy atmosphere is potent, reinforced by sombre choir vocals and the trusty 303.

The Yerevan, Armenia-based artist delivers the Roori” EP - a small set of breakbeat and electro tracks molded on top of Armenian folk and poetry produced by yutani. His music encompasses a wide range of cultural nuances from post-Soviet era sounds to the tribal drums encapsulated in deep and electrified waveforms.

After the stoppage we have suffered due to the current problem in the supply of physical discs, we have decided to release this compilation in digital format to overcome the material obstacles that hinder the release of music.
After three years of starting our journey as a label, we take stock of what we have learned and where we want to be. Under The Stone is the result of a conscious awareness of the spectacularized and speculative electronic music that prevails today.A conscious and proud stance regarding the consumerist concepts of macro festivals and selfies that distort the idea of collective culture. The title refers to the double movement involved in lifting a stone. On the one hand, discovering the extraordinary ecosystem that is hidden underneath, and on the other, the act of throwing away the stone that was keeping it crushed.
This album brings together a few artists, some to be discovered and others more established, but who share a common denominator, powerful sound and a challenge to established consumption clichés. We want to thank all the artists who are part of the compilation for giving shape and meaning to the idea that orbits this release.
