Metatone is a tonic-containing substance used to help restore health and vitality after illnesses or when you are feeling tired. A metaphor, which perfectly describes Ement's debut album - a mixture of peak-time electro/techno tunes spiced up with the modern traces of EBM, which perfectly fits clubs and festivals. It is a personal dancefloor experience materialization of a non-stop party rebel, who started his music production journey in the periphery and got inspired by his brother's hard dance production experiments. After an intensive exploration of the local and foreign club scene through years of intensive djing, remixing and never-ending afterhours, Ement finalized his recent definition of dance, which launches on the new co-curated PZ Records label.

An unexpected break and a long-lasting limbus of the dancefloor consumption turned out as a perfect slot to reveal one of many underestimated Lithuanian producers, who are too shy and too critical to themselves. It's no fiction, as "How Much Is Too Much" was already noticed and compiled by Dave Clark in his "Whitenoise" radio show.

The V.A. combines genre-bending music from six different artists, exploring the broad sonic landscape of electro-industrial dance music, pushing boundaries in sound, without breaching the sanctity of the dance floor. Today we present Maedon's "Relentless", a killer acid injected body techno work with unrelenting energy, perfect for a sultry dance floor. After debuting on BPitch’s We Are Not Alone compilation, Frenchman Crystal Geometry arrives with his first full EP for the label. Showcasing his diversity across four distinct cuts, this is Crystal Geometry in playful and experimental mode, utilising his modular synth skills to bring us a powerful selection of tracks. 

‘Everlasting Ghost of an Acid Trip’ is a self-explanatory cut that dives deep into themes around death and LSD. With lyrics inspired by the early Norwegian black metal scene, he goes all out with the 303 line and hardcore-inspired beats. ‘Alien Abduction’ was made especially for BPitch, the modular synth taking centre stage as 80s percussion and washed out vocals do the work. 

‘Drink My Blood’ is one for the hardcore goths, allowing Crystal Geometry to express the depths of his dark soul. The lyrics say it all, "Drink, drink my blood! It's dark, like my soul. Feed! Feed on me, don't waste a drop of that gold". Finally, ‘The Promised Land’ addresses the dire situation in the Middle East, redefining the so-called Holy Land. The melancholy atmosphere is potent, reinforced by sombre choir vocals and the trusty 303.

Midnight has been crafting his unique brand of synth pop for the past 13 years and Night Work explores local and global themes, using oblique vocals which not so subtly hint about living in a region that is obsessed with oil and harvesting natural resources - at any cost. The artwork portrays a Mad Max apocalyptic nightmare that Markus has envisioned since childhood, in a place where the pump jack and oil derrick are glamorized ahead of everything else.

Today we bring you the album's lead track, "Northern Heat" which is an infectious piece that touches on the seemingly obliviousness of residents to and unfolding catastrophe, all with an otherwise upbeat energy.
