Se  ‘Homens  Lentos’,  CD  de  estreia  d’A  Fase  Rosa,  projetou  o  grupo  na  cena  independente mineira,  o  álbum  recém-lançado,  ‘Leveza’,  tem  grandes  chances  de  alçar  a  banda  ao  seleto grupo  dos  destaques  nacionais.  Poderia  até  soar  exagero  se  quem estivesse  dizendo  não entendesse  tanto  do  assunto.  É  o  caso do  espanhol  El  País,  que  de  sua  sucursal  brasileira

A FASE ROSA’s  sophomore album meets critical acclaim
while seeking recognition beyond borders

After taking the Brazilian music scene by surprise with a critically-acclaimed debut  - 2013’s ‘Homens Lentos’ –the quartet A Fase Rosa has built a following with its rootsy, afro-jazzy sound infused with contemporary elements, along with witty, catchy lyrics.  

Now the group has just released its sophomore effort, ‘Leveza’, that has been met with even more raved reviews. The band’s rising popularity has enabled them to tour across many parts of Brazil, gathering a new wave of fans and admirers. “If you are into Brazilian music but tired of the genre’s lack of reinvention and ability to thrill, enjoy regional trends such as MPB, Samba and Axé, but seek a bold, multicolored, daring sound that speaks to universal ears, you need to look up for a group from Minas Gerais named A Fase Rosa” stated the Spanish-written newspaper El País. Fresh off ‘Homens Lentos’,  the single ‘Desmancha’ has been featured in many lists of best tracks of 2013 along with the subsequent single “Casa” that has been included in the compilation Music Alliance Pact.

 ‘Leveza’, is currently available for free download through A Fase Rosa’s official website - www.afaserosa.com.br – and since its release in the past November, the band has gone out on tour to further promote it, with shows taking place at some of the most traditional venues in São Paulo, Poços de  Caldas, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, João Pessoa and Natal. The band has also played in some of the biggest music festivals in Brazil such as Transborda”, “Grito Rock” and the movie festival “16o Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes”.
