Manchester's Interpolate Records presents 'Natural Colours" by the dynamic Dulha. Today we are premiering the melodically playful jungle number ‘Birds of Paradise.’ This is Dulhas second release on the Interpolate imprint. His work resides firmly on the faster end of the BPM spectrum, yet refuses to be pigeon-holed. This enthralling four-tracker seeks to blend melody and warmth with infectious basslines, and masters it exquisitely, all the while Dulha’s penchant for subtle anime/j-pop influences proves fruitful as always. @lawrencehart and @merabhaiii come together on a lairy South London club cut with deep South Asian influence, 'Jus U'.

'Jus U' opens with a beat played by Mera Bhai on the Mridangam - a two-headed drum and one of the oldest Indian instruments, dating back over 2000 years. The pair then manipulated this percussion into a breakbeat by recording it onto a cassette tape, shifting it into its final dancefloor form.

Inside tracks at least 155 bmp. The release is inspired by the rave era of the 90s with references to IDM and parties in St. Petersburg club Kruzhok. Each track has a different mood, but with the same atmosphere. This is life with its micro rhythms every day in the concrete jungle. On the edge.
