This week on Topshelf we’re proud to bring you the Italo sounds of Dutch DJ/Producer Doctr.

Having an array of EP’s and singles to his name from 2011, in 2015 Doctr found his rhythm and the italo started flowing out of him with the 3 singles ‘Albatros’, ‘The Battle of The Inhabited Planets of The Universe’ & ‘The Master’s Grand Design’ Singles all dropping that year.
He hasn’t looked back since and has continued to smash out golden records for our enjoyment including his excellent ‘Planet Rave’ EP from 2019 and Last years ‘A Lover’s Paradise’.

The EP is composed of two original songs by Umvral (Addi de la Cruz) and three remixes made by: Aleito, Cu Da Curuxa and Parallel.

'Viva la trance' is in the frenzy of a fight for survival, composed from start to finish with trance music clichés and trying to never stop, that is, never slow down the beat and mixing different synthesizer sound on each moment.

'Veneno para las hadas' is a track inspired by the 1986 Mexican film of the same title specifically when narrating how the 'poison for the fairies' is elaborated by their natural enemies: the witches.

This EP captures how artist imagine the secondary effects of beign poisoned by the witches, undoubtedly a rush of pain, but accompanied by hallucinations and funny moments to make death more enjoyable.

Umvral is Addi de la Cruz, a dj and producer from Mexico City. Passionate about music since childhood, he has dedicated himself to collecting songs from all over the world, from the underground to the mainstream. This led him to be the main piece behind Veneno, where he serves as A&R and curator of the label's series of mixtapes. His productions and remixes range from Indie Dance, Downtempo, Techno, Acid, Break beats and Trance.

After the success of Astroloop's Ep “Right Before” released on Nothing is Real imprint, Latido releases his new Ep "Let Their Minds Wander”, a two original tracks Ep with two amazing remixes from the bosses Niv Ast and Lauer.
The creation of this Ep was inspired by a dream of Gabriel Lori (aka Astroloop) after he was playing somewhere in the desert at the sunrise. The final result is an Ep which will moves your body and mind through a delicious cocktail of house, acid and psychodelia of XXI century.
The Ep ends with a version of "The Recondite Shapes of Your Dreams" by the invincible Lauer. In this remix the beats per minute of the original track are accelerated, to turn it into a delicious meandering as well optimistic piece with Balearic ingredients, an organic bass line, and a winner piano line.

Lausanne-born, Berlin-based Pyrame is releasing his new EP, 'Electronica Melancholia', as a dedication to his newborn son. A veritable poet at heart, the physicist turned music and film producer creates raw emotion through his melodies and lyrics inspired by his endless exploration of the world around him. The birth of his son marks his newest source of inspiration as he embarks upon the adventure of parenthood.

The 6-track EP will be released via Pyrame's own label, Thisbe Recordings which is inspired by Greek Mythology for a touch of surrealism, heritage and fantasy.
