This is a Nostalgic Japanese Music Inspired Cue. It features classical orchestral instruments as well as traditional Japanese instrumentation. Among the traditional Japanese instruments, we can find the Shakuhachi, the Koto, and the Taiko Drums.

Yukiyama (Nostalgic Cue)

This track was inspired by the work of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, using Classic Orchestra instrumentation. It is divided into two parts, the first part is called The Last Breath, which depicts the character’s human death. The second part is called The Awakening and it is inspired by the moment he wakes from his death slumber and rises as Dracula. The approach was cinematic in order to tell a story as well as I could without visuals.

Dusk

A brooding light tension cue with a driving synth bass rhythm and eerie marimba melody for a crime drama.

Alley Autopsy (Light Tension)

An epic orchestral cue featuring driving string melodies and powerful brass. Perfect for a dramatic boss fight in a video game.

Ascensus In Corde

This trailer track was made under certain specification and was intended for an action movie. The client provided a timeline with designated hit points and how the music should increase in intensity. The piece is divided into a somber intro, a buildup, and full action that culminates in the final hit points.

Ira Di Dio

This piece was inspired by modern video game music pieces such as the ones found in Hollow Knight and Octopath Traveler. Additionally, it takes inspiration from other video game composers such as Nobuo Uematsu and Yoko Shinomura.

Born in the island of Puerto Rico, Hector’s passion for cinema and music began at an early age. Since he was a child, he loved to seek information about what was happening behind the scenes on movies, but was also inclined in to the music world. He began studying classical music at the age of 11, picking up the instrument of Classical Guitar. At the end of high school, he enters Engineering School, something completely different from the Arts.  After several years and realizing that his passion was in the arts, specially cinema, he started to integrate little by little into the cinematographic world of Puerto Rico. After studying Digital Cinematography, in Puerto Rico, Los Angeles and New York he has excelled in projects both in Puerto Rico and Hollywood. Currently, Hector is looking into fusing both his love for Cinema and Music, pursuing a career focusing mainly on Film Scoring and Production Music.
