Mikey Miele or better known as https://soundcloud.com/mythmofficial , is a Dubstep and experimental bass music producer hailing from Vancouver, Canada who has quickly become a rising talent within the electronic music scene. Taking inspiration from genres: Dubstep, Grime, Drum and Bass, Hip-hop and more, the Canadian artist has helped fortify the growth of Dubstep and bass music with his forward thinking productions since the inception of his project in 2019.  has released his work on respected labels such as Artikal Music UK, Deadbeats, Deep, Dark & Dangerous, Wormhole, Wheel and Deal Records and has received support from the likes of renowned producers: J:Kenzo, Truth, Zed’s Dead, N-Type, Liquid Stranger, and Peekaboo, to name a few.
Miele has caught the attention of many with his consistent, quality releases and high energy live performances which have taken him to major music festivals like Shambhala, Lost Lands, Lightning In a Bottle, Infrasound and Beyond Wonderland. UK born DJ and producer Hedchef has been slinging his brand of unconventional and underground club sounds at some of the hottest festivals and parties across the globe over the last few years, from legendary London institution Unfold and Abyss in Shanghai to Sydney mainstay Club77.

His productions have landed on acclaimed labels including Scuffed Recordings, International Chrome and Mincy’s Extra Spicy, and a little birdy tells us there’s plenty more new releases on the way in 2024-2025, including a debut full length album! UK-born, Melbourne-based Hedchef creates the kind of sharp, off-kilter club constructions that disorientate and delight the dancefloor in equal measure. Showing discipline to a militant ethos of pushing the envelope, futurism and point-blank rejection of nostalgia, irony and pastiche, Hedchef’s groove-based, breakdown-light arrangements align closer to classic techno and electro than dubstep or garage, whilst his razor-sharp sound design draws from influences closer to drum ‘n’ bass and the UK bass-driven music spectrum to add imaginative, gritty edges to the rolling flow.

It’s this intricate musicianship which has seen Hedchef release on acclaimed labels including Scuffed Recordings in London, New York-based Worst Behaviour and Berlin’s International Chrome, with a stacked schedule of releases coming out in 2025 that continue the mission of expanding the boundaries of functional club tools. These tracks can be heard in the sets of some of the world’s most venerated DJs and tastemakers, from Dave Clarke and Anastasia Kristensen to Detroit In Effect, Jensen Interceptor and Solid Blake. Most recently, his collaborations with cross-genre wizard Doctor Jeep have been a staple in the international club circuit.

Which artists has influenced you the most? 
- I often get the most inspiration from non-musical sounds I just happen to come across, and particularly ones that are non-organic - industrial fans, unusual feedback, an oddly creaky door - but artist-wise I'd go with Drexciya, Burial and Sunn O))).

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? 
- Lots of stuff to come this year - the most imminent is an EP on Prague-based imprint YUKU which I'm very happy with, and a longer collection of tracks on a Dutch label to be announced soon. I'm also playing with visual ideas for launching my own label, so it's probably a long way off but keep your eyes out for that.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? 
- The aforementioned YUKU, Typeless, Scuffed, Pinkman, Amniote Editions, Nerve Collect.

What inspires you now to create music? 
- Working with other musicians in my capacity as a tutor and engineer - learning is always a two-way process and I'm often unbelievably inspired to write some of my own material after a good session working on someone else's.

What set-up do you use when creating music?
- 100% software - I have used and owned various pieces of hardware in the past but I just adore the level of flexibility you have to iterate, automate and revisit ideas whilst working in the box. In the studio I primarily use Ableton, Vital, Reason Rack, VCV Rack, the Fabfilter suite and a few other plug-ins.

Gina B is a Manchester based Promoter and DJ with a focus on representing a diverse and inclusive club music scene. Since founding her brand ‘Lucid Juice’ in 2019, Gina has curated hefty lineups across multiple genres of electronic music with huge success. Her passion for high energy bass driven sounds has inspired her to venture into DJing where she incorporates a mixture of dubstep, footwork & jungle into her regular sets on Subtle Radio. This mix is an exercise of her love for 160bpm, spanning through half-time, jungle, and ghetto-techno -  with an aim to create a fast paced, club-like energy.
