London-based, Australia-born DJ and producer Nite Fleit has made her name with tough-as-nails electro, but her recently-released debut album reveals a more emotional side. Alongside her mix, she speaks to Claire Francis about her formative years in Melbourne, her natural flair for DJing, and how making music helps with her ADHD

María Cue, natural de La Rioja y residente en Amsterdam, es una DJ y productora emergente parte de Structured Collective y fundadora de Pvssy Akelarre. 

Aunque su andadura con los platos comienza sólo en 2020 durante la pandemia, Maria ha estado involucrada en la escena de diferentes maneras (comunicación,booking,promoción) formando parte de organizaciones como United We Stream Spain o Rebels Techno. 

Artistas como Aphex Twin, Helena Hauff, Autechre, Surgeon, Óscar Mulero o Drexciya han inspirado a esta prometedora DJ para empezar a hacer música y tocar, así como su profesor de producción musical Error Etica, quien tuvo un gran impacto como mentor. Muy influenciada por la narrativa y los paisajes sonoros más que por el género; de electro a IDM, de IDM a techno; siempre tratando de sorprender y hacer viajar a su público.

Maria Cue is from la Rioja, currently living in Amsterdam, she is an upcoming dj and producer which founded Pvssy Akelarre and is a part of Structured collective too.

Maria has been active in the scene as a promoter and booker, she has worked alongside with organizations like United We Stream Spain and Rebels Techno,  but it wasn´t until 2020 during the pandemic that she started to become more familiar with the decks.

 Influences from artists such as Aphex Twin, Helena Hauff, Autechre, Surgeon, Oscar Mulero and Drexciya have inspired Maria to start making music with the big help of his mentor and professor Error Etica. Her hear pays attention to soundscapes, making no difference between genres like IDM, techno and electro and using them as tools to create her own story.

Introducing the mechanical wizard from Bogotá who has been ripping waves through the South American scene with live performances at events like Dekmantel Festival Bogotá, Resident Advisor 24/7, Baum Festival, and Hermoso Ruido, Festival Estéreo Picnic, and maybe his most infamous of them all his Video Club closing with a DJ set after Legowelt. 

As a producer, Air Texture selected one of his tracks for a compilation called place: Colombia next to Kompakt among other talented Colombian producers. He released his last album Aos on Ediciones Danza Negra as a cassette and a digital release and got a review from Ransom Note. Junn is obsessed with acid textures and breakbeats, the rhythm and percussions are the most important elements in his work as a producer, DJ, and live performer.

For DUSK266 he put together a package of recent work that lays close to his heart. He loves the work of Phelimuncasi and Nyege Nyege and continued on a little journey from "straight-forward" techno to breaks, acid, and groovy but weird rhythms (his favorite ones). He doesn't care about colouring in between the lines in his DJ sets, so it was all about breaking the last track with a more distinctive one for him, creating a peak time atmosphere in the middle of the mix including distorted vibes, and ending with beautiful chords and footwork.
