Hedonic Reversal introduces us to an author with an award-winning musical career in a different field to the electronic music scene. Víctor García is a Spanish producer with a successful career focused on the composition of soundtracks for videogames and also of celebrated film works, awarded with two Goyas and many other awards.

Victor premieres his solo project Death Whistle. With this alias transfers the powerful and cinematic aura of his works to the stage through soundscapes, noise and piercing melodies that envelop the viewer in a disarming, immersive, fugitive and irresolvable experience between the oneiric and the mundane. This trajectory has its most recent chapter with the release of his first album "Alter" on the Hedonic Reversal label.

Alter is a journey, an alteration of time that transits through spaces that sometimes are luminous, full of air and spirituality and sometimes are dark, broken and disturbing. Textures that can be touched, melodies that float and rhythms that trap you to an altered reality in which everything is possible.
 
These kinds of appearances show that experimental electronic music is much more present than we think and that it can be consumed and accepted by a vast audience, even if they are not aware of it. This genre of music is constantly appearing in films and video games, the problem is that the public is not open-minded enough to conceive of this music off-screen.

PREMIERE: Olor Acre - Ensue Magnitude [Hedonic Reversal]

Olor Acre is the Barcelona project of Erik Paterna as Stmkh and Xavier Longàs as Refectori who released three albums on the Bestiarie and Hedonic Reversal labels. He has performed in different venues and festivals in Barcelona such as MIRA Festival, in the two editions of Bicefal Festival, as well as bringing techno sounds to the Kreuzberg Club with Diffuse Reality. Also with the HEX collective, he has participated in his second episode at The Loft in Razzmatazz. This project has been carried out with an idea that goes through a process of creation that is defined from the decomposition of sounds already present together with a constant decompassed acceleration that results in structures and forms with different readings.

Omica is the result of a sound conversation between two participants with the necessity to capture a future energy that goes beyond the present.
A journey full of changes that oscillate between the revolutions of biomechanical machines and a constant light that bends time; as well as a fluid that pumps through cables creating structures and rhythms within a fickle space.

Percussions that add up like overtaking on highways and that in turn are accompanied by melodic lines that channel and guide the journey. An abrasive sensation in an unknown place. A metal that is rusting by the very flesh that covers it. The agreement between the organic and present here and the unknown and yet to come, an agreement between two.


Work the machinery. Working on the concern and uncertainty of our own times, the lack and longing for the tangible. The unstoppable advance that questions the physical and the way we relate to what surrounds us and the question of how we will do it in the future with the forms already created and those yet to come. A set of constantly developing surfaces in front of an uncluttered but at the same time prepared landscape waiting to be filled with what is le of us. A wide and flat view where the strength of the mechanical rules.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Corgiat. He releases his first solo album, "Antropo-amorfo", on Barcelona's Hedonic Reversal, combining drone electronica and electro-acoustic compositions. The ANTROPO-AMORFO A/V project, formed by Giovanni Corgiat Mecio aka Corgiat, and Riccardo Franco-Loiri aka Akasha, explores the fusion of abstraction and concrete forms through the intense manipulation of data and signals, aiming to discover the point of convergence between the ephemeral and the tangible realms.
