The idea behind it is firstly the support of muscians from the underground who should get much more attention then they get atm and the second reason for making this Podcast Series is that I am a really big music nerd (mostly electronic music) and with this podcast it is very easy to life that out (I know as a DJ this is also easy, but for me Djing is more kind of a hobby which I do a bit in my freetime).

Originally from the north of France, Quentin aka Dj Exae is a big fan of underground music. He discovered Psytrance and its universe through his many musical explorations. The Forest, with its ambiances and sonorities, got the better of him, making him the DJ we know today.  

In 2018, Exae decided to get behind the decks and finally share his vision of the Forest: dark, organic and swampy. At the same time, he joins the Essência team as resident DJ, followed by Fraktal Forest for the same role in 2019.

In early 2020, he joins Phlegethon Records, and in summer 2022 Funky Freaks Records as label DJ.

(1978 - X) Komponist. Har spilt piano siden 7, gitar siden 13, synther siden 19, og programerring på datamaskin siden 25. I etterkant har jeg spilt litt trommer, strykeinstrumenter (mest hardingfele) og munnharpe =)

Orlando Hernandez and Jorge Quintana  form the Wooden ships project after having experimented with different sounds of the psychedelic trance wave and grown with sounds from the 80s and 90s, they decide to create a sound with those well-defined influences in its synthesis with hard kicks. Powerful bass lines and wonderful sounds developed for the night.
