Fughal is the artist name of Remo Castagliuolo that is born in Italy on the lovely isle Ischia by Napoli. Grown up in Switzerland and studied Linguistics. After his diploma in Stage and Screen combat he started with Theater pedagogic. In Schools he performed with youngsters and teachers together some theater pieces. Currently Working as a senior system engineer in the Pharma IT in Switzerland.

With this experience in acting, the interest in movies shifted from normal consumer to more a specific one. Analyzing the dramaturgy and impact of music in movies to force or even control emotions from the watcher was highly fascinating.  

Playing already harp (classical training), flute (classical training), the Bodhron (Irish folk instrument) and a little bit keyboard for self amusement, the whish was there to find a way to compose something with different instruments in one song.

After stopping with other hobbies because of family business the time was come to try out to enlarge the wish he had for Music and start with composing together with software and Computer. In the beginning it was more a tryout with samples to learn all this different software. Time helped to improve the skills and he started to compose own songs.

The genre of the songs is mostly orchestral because of the wide range of possibilities to express emotions and the open connection with other genres.

Imagination and music is the linking key point in his life. When he listens or creates music, his mind tries to form some picture in his head to especially see the music and not only to hear it. As a long time player of pen and paper games his imagination doesn’t know any limits and is constantly searching for challenges.

So spoken, his interest in music is also challenge and enjoyment together, trying to stimulate the imaginations of the listener to his music.
