The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a
feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden
windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching
across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of
the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step
pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound - the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself.

Desde el tenue resplandor del underground de principios de los 90, Árpád Horvát — HORI — ha dedicado más de veinticinco años a explorar las frecuencias ocultas del sonido electrónico. Su evolución refleja los cambios constantes de la escena: nacida del ritmo conmovedor del house neoyorquino de los 90, forjada en la crudeza del techno italiano y británico, refinada por el minimalismo de los 2000 y, finalmente, sumergida en la profunda e hipnótica inmensidad del dub y el ambient techno.

Guiado por la influencia de visionarios como Kraftwerk, Drexciya, Plastikman, Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Surgeon, Mike Parker y Edit Select, HORI siempre se ha mantenido al margen de las tendencias. Su enfoque reside en lo que subyace: en las texturas, la resonancia y las sutiles fuerzas que dan forma al paisaje emocional del sonido. Cada actuación es menos un set que un ritual de cocción lenta, donde el ritmo se disuelve en la atmósfera y el tiempo se transforma en pulso y tono.

Tras haber vivido en Serbia, Hungría, el Reino Unido y ahora Malta, el estilo de HORI refleja una vida de movimiento: fluido, transgresor de géneros y profundamente humano. A través de @nexus.xmt, organiza y promueve eventos y podcasts que celebran la auténtica música underground: música que se siente viva, en constante evolución e intacta por la corriente principal.

“Nexus x Deep Currents” es la encarnación de esta visión: una noche de club comisariada por él y un grupo de embajadores locales del sonido deep. Juntos, crean una atmósfera donde el dub, el deep y el techno hipnótico convergen en una experiencia compartida. Es un encuentro que trasciende la vida nocturna: una exploración de la conexión a través del sonido, donde las corrientes son profundas y el baile se convierte en un lenguaje propio.

From a serial killers basement, somewhere in London UK, Hefty has pioneered the darkside for over a decade. Undoubtedly the preeminent master of darker sounds, skillfully preparing you for the impending apocalypse with his unique style. His music is heavily influenced by a wide range of subjects including geo politics, psychology, world affairs, conspiracy theories, the occult and modern history. 

It's small wonder Hefty has enjoyed the attention of well respected labels, and most importantly, has earned the loyalty and dedication of fans who have been known to travel for many hours just to hear him play. Famed for his raw, heavy and uncompromising dark sets, this London based DJ has been in international demand over the past years, conquering clubs and festivals (eg. Tresor, Modem Festival, Bucht der Träumer Festival) across Europe and as far as Brazil, Canada and Australia.

After a few years, he was inspired to create his own label: Darker Sounds. Focused solely on showcasing underground dark techno and emerging talent, Darker Sounds has never compromised its dedication to keeping the style and quality of its out put consistently high.

Unafraid to constantly refine and evolve his style, Hefty ventured into the world of psychedelic trance. Carving out his own path, he has used his techno production techniques to create his own style of dark, driving psychedelic trance. He decided to create his own psychedelic label "Erebos Records" which has become a platform for releasing the darkest psy trance from the best undiscovered artists from around the world. 

This psychedelic adventure then lead Hefty to start producing his own version of downtempo / chillout music, which he calls Dark Tek Chillout. Produced at 100bpm, this style is dark, heavy and hypnotic, allowing Hefty to truly experiment with the dancefloor and bring awareness to the various dark subjects that inspire his music. 

Now armed with a trifecta of genres, Hefty is on track to further cement his reputation as an unstoppable force in the the dark realm.
