Satire?....you ask…   Hard to tell, but that’s the genius here.  Will worry those so inclined, I suppose, others will ROTFLOL.  Me, I see a depiction of deplorables who aren’t so adorable.  So I guess I’m in the latter group.

Maybe it's a survival mechanism that only allows us to remember the good things in our past, but then as we get older our subconscious and need for resolve actually breaks down that wall that has protected our minds while they were immature, weak and prone to disillusion. What we end up with is clear memories of all the things our subconscious was hiding from us all those years. At this point in life we no longer have anyone to focus on as the perpetrator of the crimes committed against us because, either they are too old or are gone, which leaves us alone to deal with by ourselves, or wonder if it's all in our heads. After years of research and self analysis I am leaning towards the power of our minds that protected us for years theory,  at least for myself,  you must complete your own quest for the truth.
