Ra is the Egyptian word for 'sun'. As a solar deity, Ra embodied the power of the sun but was also thought to be the sun itself, envisioned as the great god riding in his barge across the heavens throughout the day and descending into the underworld at sunset.
My ode to that great civilization and the Sun  responsible for all life on this planet..

A special thank you to Pamela Illanes, (https://soundcloud.com/user-315009621), a wonderful composer that even had her own work played by a real orchestra, early on during my writing I struggled with writers block for almost 2 weeks, one night we engaged in a conversation and Pam was very helpful, she gave me the patience and strength I needed at the time, writers block really gets to me. This is a song that Frans wrote, recorded, and gave to Josh to share with the Eclectic Collective. Frans is playing all the foundational instruments of the incredibly intricate yet perfectly foundational rhythm section, including Fender electric bass, Roland synthesizer bass, Gibson SG electric guitar rhythm, Godin electric guitar slide background, trumpet background, horn section, including alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones, Gibson 335 electric guitar background rhythm, a full set drum kit, percussion, cowbell, and tambourine. All of Frans's music is a dazzling display of solo work on top of a dense, rock solid rhythm section. So, in that spirit, this song is a display of all of us taking 12 bars to show what we can do.
  Tez was first to add his expert blues guitar in the section right after the opening vocals. Josh took the next slot, with the notey second guitar solo on the first chorus section. Stephen added his fiery guitar next, in the last teo slots, after the second verse. JJ was next in line, though, bringing his piano and organ to the mix, both in a support role throughout, and in the piano solo between Josh's solo and the second verse. Ken, then came up with some lyrics and sung the whole thing for us, very ably and in the propper spirit of the song (which was named randomly by Frans). 
  Of course, every great song needs a great producer, and we tapped Stephen to do the honors here, as he's our resident expert producer. 
  We are all honored and very grateful to Frans, whom we all respect and admire to a very high degree, for sharing this with us. On the off chance you aren't familiar with him, do yourself a favor and check out his page. He's as talented a multi-instrumentalist as you'll ever come across, with hours of astounding music on his page.
  We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we all enjoyed creating it.

I've been tested by an examiner from the Australian Conservatorium of Music & apparently I have perfect pitch and blessed with the ability to accompany any musician, add hooks to any genre - as a singer I’m not great but who cares thats why most is spoken word.

I have my own style - either you like it or not -  always open for collaborations

🎤I have no fear of perfection - will never reach it 🎧   I don’t have the perfect voice nor am I aiming to be the best I'm only human with a passion for what I love music is in my heart.

Having begun her musical journey at the young age of five with the piano accordion – an instrument initially more of an expectation than a choice, yet one for which she now holds deep gratitude – Heidi-Marie eventually transitioned into the captivating world of electronic music production a few years ago. This discovery led to the gentle retirement of her accordion, making space for her true passion: composing, producing, and sharing her sonic creations with the world. For Heidi-Marie, music is not just a pastime but a lifelong dedication, a constant until her final days.
