Daily Drops

Another month, and another cunning plan in preparation for next year.  So far, I have experimented with hexachords, heptachords and octachords, can you guess what the focus will be in November?  In homage to the unpredictability of human creativity I have decided to explore the pentachord!  Today’s #MusicalMinute has that eastern feel that is often associated with the major pentatonic.  What do you think?

I'm not convinced there's skill in prompts
that generate soulless and gaunt
emotions that fall short of what is human.
Such foolish sheep ingesting these
false imitations of beliefs,
experiences not achieved, nor numen. 
And it's plumin' smoke into the air,
unnatural, how do they dare
pollute our world without a care for people?
Why can't we all accept, make peace
that perfection is out of reach
and we are ours, flaws, all, unique, yet equals.

We really haven't done very well with what we were gifted. 
 
Have we?

In any sense, under any interpretation, through any lens, via any belief system, under any political prism, upon any philosophical foundation, we have utterly corrupted the entirety of the social, cultural, spiritual, environmental and biological ecosystem that we touch, and which defines and sustains what we understand as "life" on our home planet.

And on every front, by all metrics, under any assessment - empirical, analytical, theoretical, logical, it gets progressively worse.

Every day.

A Time To Reflect

"Flutter in A Flat Minor" is an orchestral instrumental painting a scene of butterflies flitting just out of reach. The piccolo flute takes the lead, embodying the light, airy motion, while a legato string ensemble provides the main body. The piece uses a blend of contrasting textures, including staccato bassoon and tremolo violin, alongside lush atmospheric elements like fractal wind alchemy and canyon cloud pads. A central clarinet melody and harp weave through the track, enhanced by Chord Trigger and arpeggiator effects for a sense of synchronistic, weaving motion.

I've been tested by an examiner from the Australian Conservatorium of Music & apparently I have perfect pitch and blessed with the ability to accompany any musician, add hooks to any genre - as a singer I’m not great but who cares thats why most is spoken word.

I have my own style - either you like it or not -  always open for collaborations

🎤I have no fear of perfection - will never reach it 🎧   I don’t have the perfect voice nor am I aiming to be the best I'm only human with a passion for what I love music is in my heart.

This discovery led to the gentle retirement of her accordion, making space for her true passion: composing, producing, and sharing her sonic creations with the world. For Heidi-Marie, music is not just a pastime but a lifelong dedication, a constant until her final days.
