Sinister Serenade begins with a haunting minor feel, immediately setting a tone of melancholy and quiet despair. The track features a combination of electric guitar, ukulele, subbass, claps, choral pads, Rhodes piano, and additional piano layers, creating a rich but sorrowful soundscape.

At a tempo of 105.63 BPM and in 4/4 time, the track moves steadily, evoking the image of walking through cold, rain-soaked streets of New York on an autumn night. The third section of the piece introduces a cool arpeggiated guitar figure, panned to create a sense of movement and depth. Although the track maintains a single, melancholy emotion throughout, a shift in the middle introduces a hint of something more sinister, with subtle magical harmonies lifting the mood before returning to the somber melody.

Ban'ei racing is a type of horse racing in which racehorses compete for strength and speed while pulling a sled. It is also sometimes called "horse pulling".
Currently, the only publicly managed (local) horse racing in Japan is "Ban'ei horse racing" sponsored by Obihiro City, Hokkaido, and it is the only form of horse racing in the world.
"Ban'ei horses" (heavy breeding horses, also called "banba"), which have been used since ancient times mainly as farm horses and weigh around 800-1200 kg, pull iron sleds carrying jockeys and heavy loads, and compete in strength, speed, endurance, and jockey technique on a separate 200-meter straight course with two obstacles (small trapezoidal hills).

Orchestral Winds & Strings

This composition explores the interplay between the timbral qualities of cello, orchestral bass, and violin.  A consistent bass melody serves as a cantus firmus, providing a harmonic and rhythmic anchor.  The violin and cello engage in a melodic counterpoint, their lines intertwining and complementing the bass.  The central section introduces a contrasting texture with the addition of trombone, flute, and bassoon. The trombone's powerful voice creates a dramatic climax, supported by the contrasting timbres of the flute and bassoon. This section serves as a foil to the predominantly string-based sections, highlighting the dynamic range of the ensemble. The composition concludes with a return to the initial material, now enriched by the preceding dramatic episode.

I've been tested by an examiner from the Australian Conservatorium of Music & apparently I have perfect pitch and blessed with the ability to accompany any musician, add hooks to any genre - as a singer I’m not great but who cares thats why most is spoken word.
